How do you guys think this affects the Third Saturday in October this year?

If we have a really good qb, we could win, but will have to be much better than wehad this year. Bama's defense will be much better next year, they played a lot of freshman this year.

Check out their Dual threat signee Bryce Young's highlights .. he may not be Tua but he is electric fast and has some arm .. wont be surprised he wins the job there as Freshman and is Jalen Hurts 2.0

Saban knows what he is doing another duel threat, he knows the type of qb you need to win in todays college football. They will be back in playoffs probably next year. We have them at home, I think, so hopefully we will have a good qb and make a game of it.

The only way I'd believe this is if butch was hired on to the staff. Right now, they're in a holding pattern.

He’ll never be hired on staff. We all can agree from past experiences that he doesent recruit well enough let alone coach well enough to have a place. With as many good assistants that are out there he’ll always be a yard short. Given he’s still around when Sweeney takes the job he still won’t get one. He’s where he needs to be getting coffee and doughnuts for the people who are qualified.

Unfortunately they’ll be much better on defense nxt year.

247 saying Fromm is leaning towards leaving too. If that happens then UGA, LSU, and Bama are breaking in new QB’s next year.

Fromm has played like Joe Montana v Florida, so I can’t say I’m hoping he sticks around, although most everyone else in the SEC doesn’t seem concerned at all if he returns.

But if Fromm does leave, from a stats standpoint and from a ‘where his team finished’ standpoint, Kyle Trask is the best returning QB in the league. Who the hell woulda thunk that coming into the 2019/20 seasons?

Apparently he’s getting 2nd-4th round grades so he could bring it up a bit, but he’s not passing fields or Lawrence.

I think he’s excellent, and of course it’s because he’s beaten my teams brains in 3 straight years. If he returns he’s far and away the best QB in the SEC in my opinion with Tua and Burrow gone.

Ya, for some reason he always played his best game against Florida. My money would’ve been on Emory Jones taking franks spot before the year. Will be interesting to see what he does. UF is after Vandagrif (sp?) so who knows.

Possibly. Would think LSU could get a decent grad transfer if Brady stays.

Emory and Trask will battle it out in the Spring and Fall, and with Emory’s ability to run, if he gets even or close to Trask in reading defenses and the pass game in general, it’ll be his team.

They’ve also got local kid Anthony Richardson on the roster now and from what I’ve been hearing, that dude is gonna be a player.

IMO Emory and AR fit Mullen’s system better than trask. Guess trask is just that much further along.

For his sake I hope he signs with a team that can sit him for a year or two to heal. Maybe some relief games. But give him time to heal first. Plus learning the offense and yadda yadda.

Saban was gonna get the kid killed. I bet he got hit like 5 times last season. I hope Jarret Guarantano or Justin Worley have reached out to him to provide support from the QB fraternity.
