'26 Transfer QB options

I'm not losing anything my man. I gave you the stats. Higher QB rate, Completion percentage, better on a per play and game basis by a wide margin, more TDs, more points by the team. But yes Milton threw less picks.

Yards and points don't matter when comparing QBs? Lmao, alright then. You auto win any argument with that rationale I suppose.

I don't even understand what you mean by your 2nd paragraph. It doesn't make any sense.

You are trying to invoke new data points that had nothing to do with the original convo on comparing 12 game averages. Why is that?

It's called substantiating your claim. I brought even more statistical evidence. What metric are you using? Because I used all of the relevant ones.

I literally posted the metrics earlier. The metrics that are specific to "QB PRODUCTION AVERAGES".... Did you comment with out actually reading the above conversation on 12 game averages? There is a reason folks were taught to think before speaking.

I'll repost again for you...

Joey had a great season statistically, no one could/should refute that.

That being said, it just seemed to me that after the UGA loss that when it mattered he faded and couldn't make anything happen to win the close ball games we lost.

You’re showing how he threw for 50 more yards per game. I appreciate you supporting the argument that Joey was more than marginally better than Joe Milton.

Hell if you’d said “Joey was better than Milton but he wasn’t the second coming” there would be no push back. But since you acted like what he did this season was forgettable, therein lies the problem

I've only spoken in averages. You have yet to refute a single thing I've said. Maybe you need to go back and re-read my posts instead of insinuating I'm behind your grand intellect.

Just because you left out other specific and relevant QB statistics doesn't mean they don't exist.

But here's something you can chew on. Direct SEC play comparison.

No one said his season was forgettable. I said it was nothing we haven't seen in recent years as documented. You seem to take issue with documenting that.

Why are citing passing yards only like the my argument was "Aguilar had the same passing season as Milton."

Once again and for the millionth time, my whole point was/is/will be that Tennessee got virtually the same total production from the QB position in 2025 that we got in 2023. And there are only 4-5 data points to measure that and you have to use ALL 4-5 when someone says "TOTAL PRODUCTION" and those are passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and turnovers"

The fact you are trying to cherry pick instead of using totality shows you're trying to invent a new position or argument.

Can you cope harder? You are now trying to argue the debate of "Joe and Joey's 12 game production / averages being virtually the same" with comparing their averages over 8 games..... LOLOLOL

"I can't argue your point about 12 game averages between the two quarterbacks unless I can use 8 game averages to argue your 12 game comparison" lol

Brother, I promise you're the only one coping here. Lmao.

Also I don't have a dog in any fight. I like Joe and Joey. Your claim is just stupid though.

Your argument: Yea he was worse at completing passes, throwing TD's, throwing for yardage on a game and play basis, lower QBR, significantly worse when it came to SEC play, less ppg by the team, but I swear they were the exact same.

Please do tell. Please tell me what "specific QB statistics" I left out that fall under QB Production.

What are you talking about now? I gave you both examples. Joey is better in both. I was shocked how much better in SEC play. Like I said. GOOFY.

You said I left out specific data metrics that somehow were left out when quantifying direct production from the QB position, yet you haven't named them.

You tried to argue the convo of their 12 game averages / season being virtually the same by saying "nana nana boo boo" and using 8 game averages to argue the claim their 12 game averages weren't a wash.

That's a hell of a reach.

They weren't a wash. Joey was better in every category except picks. Then he was substantially better in SEC play which idk most people find that to be more important.

You originally didn't mention QBR, completion percentage, production of the offense, yards per attempt. I find those all to be pretty relevant in QB discussions. Not end all be all, but like you said there's more to it than pure yardage.

I don't care to argue anymore. I feel you are highly disingenuous or downright ignoring data. Love Joe and Joey. Joey is a much more productive college QB than Joe. If he's our QB again I'll be quite happy.

I said QB production..... Production isn't QBR or percentages or yards per attempt. Production is a pretty simple area that can be defined by yards, touchdowns, and turnovers......

Pretty simple stuff. Those areas have been concrete for years. QBR wasn't a thing for a long time.

At the end of the day, the convo on their 12 game averages being virtually the same with Aguilar having slightly higher total YPG over Milton and Aguilar having 2x the turnovers over Milton....

Who knew people would get so emotional over hard stats!

Hey when you set all the parameters in your argument I guess you never lose!

40 more yards per game = same, who knew. Or 70 in SEC play (but not supposed to mention that). I digress.

Not emotional at all, just enjoy stats which paint a pretty clear picture in this instance, highlighting your point of TDs and yards. ;)

Ok, let’s go by your metric of total production yards and pure stats since you’re obviously the only one who’s capable of understandings statistics..

3666 total production yards
28 TDs
10 picks
404 pass attempts

3112
27 total tds
5 picks
354 pass attempts

Which qb is better

You’d have to put the stats game by game.

Then I’d be able to judge more. How many yards did they throw against quality competition, interceptions, TDs.

Who is injured from both teams, etc.

A lot goes into it rather than just putting up stats and saying “pick one”

once again, you keep invoking 8 game averages when the convo is 12 game averages. Not sure why you can’t stay on point.

I think the SEC play one kinda shows that. Or that Joey had more yards in the 1st Q against Georgia than Joe had all game.
