'26 Transfer QB options

Think we are good either way at QB as long as we close on this defensive portal haul. We went to playoff with average QB play.

1. Ty
2. Joey
3. GMac/FB

In that order. I think the staff would be fine with any scenario.

When you average 500 yards of offense and are scoring 40 points a game, and your losing games, its not because of the offense. Offense may have struggled in a couple of those games but when your defense is so terrible, it really doesnt matter now does it? We scored enough to beat UGA and OU. Defense would have had to been rock solid to have beaten Vandy and Bama but last year the defesne won us several games. Its not too much to ask to have them win you a couple in a year like this one. But they were certainly incapable of that.

So, to add some fuel to the fire, there's a rumor going around that Heupel was spotted at Martin Westview earlier today. Idk how true it is and he could've been there just to speak w/ the little brother if he was, but thought it was worth adding.

Edit: He was there, there's pictures of him w/ 2027 recruits RB Asa Barnes & DB Miles Brown

Better have a Plan B other than 2 freshman QB's having thrown a combined 9 passes against non-P4 competition

So one of the best QBs in the SEC was average? Also there is no way we can go into next season with just GMac and Fazion. No way. Regardless of what happens with Ty and Joey, Heupel will get a QB out of the portal.

Who are you assuming I'm referring to?

Also, never said we wouldnt get a QB out of the portal (clearly we would) but if option C is the path I fully expect one of the kids on campus to start next year.
