'26 Transfer QB options

No you can’t do that history kinda of supports it. Unless you’ve got a top 10-12 defense you can’t do that. Freshman QB’s don’t go to the playoffs. Our defense can probably get in the top 40 next year but it won’t be top 10.
I’m up for a rebuild year. lol cast your stones.

GMac has had a lot of time with the playbook.

It’s just puzzling because AP said we’re looking for a starter, but AP and SF have both said we haven’t really pushed for anyone yet. Extremely naive to just think we can roll with 2 freshmen next year if that’s the staff’s thinking, and it’s malpractice to just bank on either joey coming back or ty coming home

Exactly, Heupel needs to understand his job is on the line and act like it.

If they felt good about GMac then they would’ve played him more. Faizon hasnt even practiced with the team yet

No, maybe they feel better bc he’s gotten better throughout the season. Maybe he knows more of the playbook, is more comfortable in the offense, is putting on some weight, etc

How would we know if it’s naive or not? None of us have seen them practice with the team.

If that’s the case then why didnt he jump Merk? If Merk was better then why didnt we get him to stay

Heupel ain’t going anywhere next year, baring a losing season. But if he has more than 4 regular season losses he will need to produce a double digit win regular season the next year to keep his job.
