Look, I'm not saying those people deserved to get pepper-sprayed, but they used exceptionally poor judgment when they decided to protest with people holding cups. They may have had a right to do so, but that doesn't mean they should have used it. If they had just stayed home and not gotten in the officers' way, they wouldn't have gotten pepper-sprayed (not that I'm saying they deserved to be sprayed, you understand).

At the end of the day, that’s what I want to see. Pretty sure a grand jury will be called but I am sticking with the scapegoat theory.

Based on the administration response so far, I think Trump knows what the feeling of the majority of the public is on this. (Trump, Stephen Miller and Ted Cruz have already started backing away from this like a cow patty on your kitchen table and I have never seen that before.) I believe there are major political ramifications for Trump and his administration with this situation and someone is taking the fall. Might be Noem, might be the agents, might be both but somebody is getting sacrificed on the altar of political expediency. If they stick it totally on Pretti, that is not going to go down well and I think Trump knows it. Going to be an interesting case.

That about covers it. Bovino has already been exiled to BF California. The other agents should have intervened but I think it happened too quickly so I can’t really blame them. Point is I think Trump is going to stick somebody with this and hope it goes away. But that’s just me. I have a cynical nature.
