This is just speculation, and if it's way off base please correct me, but when the officer asked her if she was ok, maybe it was because she was acting weird due to being under the influence. If he noticed that she was high, wouldn't that have been a reasonable reason to ask her to step out of the vehicle?

Interesting speculation. And it might explain the cigarette, and her not wanting to get out of the car. If marijuana found on her or in the car, that would explain a lot of her behavior, and support the notion that she was acting suspiciously.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What a reach. And no surprise at all to see Lawgator1 co-signing.

Isn't he the one always commenting about people speculating and jumping to conclusions?

Didn't say it's what happend definitely , but was speculating that it was plausible . According to the autopsy, she had a large amount of marijuana in her system. Is it such a reach to say it may have affected her to an extent where the officer noticed it? I agree that the cop acted unprofessional, but he acted within legal bounds, and this is an explanation that would somewhat explain his thought process and why he choose to do what he did.

It's fine to speculate and say what you believe happend based on the info available. Where there is a problem, is when people are quick to convict when there are very little facts out. The autopsy allows us to see that she may have been a very troubled soul, and was on drugs when arrested. We can change our speculation on new facts that have came out. We should still wait on the full autopsy report to come out before speaking in absolutes, but it is fine to speculate on it based on current facts.

I think that is why we said "Its speculation..."

Did she raise her voice? Did she use profanity? Did make any comment derogatory towards the officer or police in general? What comments heard in video prior to the point he asked her to put out her cigarette would you consider rude?

It's not a question of rude. It's a question of her refusing to follow a number of lawful orders.

There was a question posed to you a couple of pages back (#9089) that would not require you to do any speculation. Only thing I can determine is that you chose not to answer it because you have no answer.

He would never do anything like that...

As a liberal, I proclaim you incredibly unrealistic.

As in, you should stop now, before people who have been on Earth more than 18 years, explain why are wrong, at every level. Forever.

I for one would love to hear this.

Okay... Go for it. My guess is those few ad hominems are probably all you got though.

You said she was not rude and he was the antagonist throughout the incident. I don't think that is accurate based on what we can hear, and I know we can't hear everything, anyway.

This statement implies that she was being rude BEFORE he asked her to put her cigarette out.

Are you now backing away from your statement?

How we mingled those terms and issues I do not know. Don't really care.

But as the claim of her being murdered is losing steam every day it seems, I'm content to let the investigation play itself out. B

I have no interest or do I care about this particular incident but do have a question for you. Just what is a lawful order from a LEO? What constitutes an unlawful order?

The fact that the writer thinks you can only hang yourself from something higher than you destroys his credibility. We've had cases where they tie a towel to the post of a bed on the floor and just slide down until it cuts off blood supply.

Discredits it for you and me but not everyone.

This goes back to the poll i posted a while back. Most agreed that officers should not be able to use force to comply an order, but on practice it happens daily.

There has to be an option for them to use force to gain compliance. The key is what is a lawful order, that standard is too fuzzy.

You've never seen me post anything claiming she was murdered. You responded to comments I made concerning the traffic stop.

You apparently find yourself in the uncomfortable position of not being able to support your own comments, so you choose to say you are not interested anymore.

Laughable

Autopsy of Sandra Bland Finds Injuries Consistent With Suicide, Prosecutor Says

An autopsy of Sandra Bland, who died in a Texas jail cell three days after a minor traffic stop, showed injuries that were consistent with suicide, and not with someone else having killed her, a prosecutor said Thursday.

Ms. Bland had as many as 30 cuts on her left forearm, some recently healed and scarred, and others scabbed, indicating that they were two to four weeks old, he said, and were consistent with being self-infliected.

Preliminary testing showed marijuana in her system, but he said the results of a more accurate test were still pending.
