Maybe not but you sound paranoid and mentally irregular
I don't hate cops in the UK or Germany.
I don't even hate all cops in the US. I just realize that the legal system, the training and the ethos of cops in the US leads to a quick ramp up to aggression as there is no system in place to encourage (or force) cops from finding peaceful ends to a situation.
The rhetoric that protects cops is vibrant in here. "She shouldn't have asked what she did in a way that angered the cop... she deserved her beating." or "He shouldn't have run away from a cop... he deserved to be shot 3 times from behind. He shouldn't have threatened the cop by showing his back".
Cops are treated like easily frightened dogs by some of you guys and as unrestrained rabid dogs by others. That's a sad commentary on the outlook of police that everyone has.
Like CP said, it's a law. Like it or not. With that being said.... Did it really warrant an arrest being made? Didn't see any other reason why he was being arrested. Give the man a ticket and a summons to court, make him poor out the beer and move on.
Simply because I do not believe people should be killed or brutalized or have their lives ruined for victimless crimes?
I question authority in all forms. Law enforcement is simply the pointy end of politics.
I don't hate cops, I hate the profession. Or, I should say, the entire institution of violence that it entails. I.E. Government.
So is this the CP vs everybody from the politics forum thread now?
I ain't on your side, CP, but I gotta admire the grit. RIP GV
I picture you as an eccentric overly paranoid conspiracy theorist type. .... Probably have a camera surveillance system at your house to go along with your armory and food rations.
Bc like usual these websites only state things that stress their point of view....I had to look through a few articles until I found the rest of the story....Apparently, officers approached and told him he was not allowed to be drinking in public. Instead of pouring out his drink or going inside....he chose to become verbally abusive and physically aggressive towards the officers which led to them arresting him.
Then he deserves everything he had coming to him.
So you view me as a doomsday prepper?
Carl, I believe in freedom. It's really as simple as that. As far as government is concerned, you cannot start with immoral means and achieve a moral result. It just doesn't work that way.
