This reminds me of an encounter with Knox county or maybe Knoxville cities finest back in my late teens maybe 20 years old. I was working in a convenience store one a Friday or Saturday night around 2 in the morning and some drunk ass dude came in wanting to buy beer after it was too late to sell it and I wouldn't sell iit to him. He walked back to the beer cooler and picked up a case and ran out the door with it. I call the police and they show up and I get a ration of crap because we didn't have a lockable beer cooler. WTF did I do wrong? It's stuff like this that sticks with people.
In knox county you will not be charged with anything like this unless you were already involved in criminal activity like dealing drugsA better example? Listen to the hell and judicial torment some people go through using their firearm in self-defense... You could end up being the one robbed and threatened in your own home and be left holding a crminal charge.
I think our county officers do a pretty good job of leaving people alone. There’s a big difference how they operate compared to KPD, although I had some very positive interactions with members of KPD back in the day at UT.In knox county you will not be charged with anything like this unless you were already involved in criminal activity like dealing drugs
Yes, I think they absolutely liked using their toys and breaking stuffDo you think they trashed the home just for fun? Or did they have to go in because a dangerous armed felon was in there threatening people
They couldn't just leave the guy in there armed and making threats, he already kidnapped a teenage girl, do you really think they could just say "aw shucks we will get em next time boys?"Yes, I think they absolutely liked using their toys and breaking stuff
The guy was not ever leaving that house. I just fail to see any reason to break someone's house and skip out on the tab when they had nothing to do with the situation
I never said to leave just that he had nowhere else to goThey couldn't just leave the guy in there armed and making threats, he already kidnapped a teenage girl, do you really think they could just say "aw shucks we will get em next time boys?"
You could argue they didnt need to smash the fence, but that's really the majority of the damage, breaking windows while throwing in gas or flashbangs isn't that big of a deal.
State Troopers are the worst. They all have a god complex.Florida Driver Who Flipped Car Avoiding Couch on Interstate to Have Ticket Rescinded
The fact that they were ticketed in the first place is criminal.
