I don't think more video changes anything.

The guy says he had a concealed carry and then reaches for ID. Why would he tell the cop he has a gun if he's going to reach for it and harm the cop? It makes absolutely no sense. The cop in the moment tries to refute things that he doesn't agree with, but he does not refute this narrative.

How is that not manslaughter? If you do this, you're going to jail.

Then he doesn't administer first aid. He keeps treating him like he's a dangerous criminal. Then the cops handcuff her.

I agree, that seemed open and shut to me. It was also odd how the wife acted if I remember correctly.

I'm not either but if I recall correctly she didn't seem concerned about her husband. I just recall it didn't seem normal. Or maybe I should say it wasn't what I expected.

How his so-called "wife/girlfriend" acted is a whole new topic/debate. I just hate that the last thing this poor guy saw before he died was this cop pointing a gun at him and that ratchet heifer pointing a smartphone at him.

And overzealous prosecutors.

People need to understand most district attorneys are elected officials and most everyone of them run on primarily one thing, their felony conviction rate. This is why they overcharge poor and stupid people then offer them a plea for little to no jail time.

The dash cam video has been released. It shows what happened before the video she took. Normal stop until driver says he has a firearm, officer tells him several times not to pull it out, but he does anyway.

Driver sounds very lethargic. I think it possible he did not understand what the officer was telling him. But the officer cannot know that. Unfortunate but hard to fault the officer, who was professional throughout and had a split second to decide what the driver was doing.

Is he holding the firearm? Or did he pull it out to put in plain view of officer?

This. Officer was not in the wrong after watching the video. Hindsight makes it a tragedy but it was certainly understandable.

What strikes me as unjust is the fact that the state had this video and still pursued a criminal case. I don't see how you can possibly convict on what we have seen when all facts are released. Per usual.

When Philando Castille was killed, the NRA said they would "have more to say once the facts are known". Here we are a year later and the NRA has remained silent. We're talking about a 2nd amendment martyr right here, and they haven't got **** to say.

The NRA is a joke.
