My sister’s brother in law is like this guy. He’s a former spook or something. He speaks 7 languages..... always carries a cache of weapons with him wherever he goes.... not just pistols..... he has a case for them .... has secret compartments in his headboard and mantle that contains guns....carries a self applied tourniquet system everywhere he goes as well. Never leaves the house without 3 on him
Situational awareness is a very important part of personal responsibility. In my opinion at least. My sister’s brother in law is like this guy. He’s a former spook or something. Lmao people have been killed for much less than that. Yet another glaring example of piss poor training, assessment, and reactionary skills. Dude picked the wrong guy to be incompetent with. Thankfully no one was hurt or killed, and maybe (still a long shot) this deputy will be held accountable for his incompetence. So basically nothing happened and now there’s a lawsuit.
Definitely needs to be better trained but it’s hard to fault a guy who’s job is to stop people from running onto the floor who stopped someone from running onto the floor.Lmao people have been killed for much less than that. This cop is undeniably a POS. He saw an opportunity for a lawsuit and got caught red handed being the scam artist he is. Maybe one of the resident bootlickers can explain why someone with a history of fraud would even sniff a job as a cop.Definitely needs to be better trained but it’s hard to fault a guy who’s job is to stop people from running onto the floor who stopped someone from running onto the floor.
Put your credentials where they can be seen and you’re not stopped. After you are stopped show your credentials. Instead of the “do you know who I am?!?!” Approach. Clearly the cop didn’t have a clue who he was or he wouldn’t have stopped him.

Deputy who sued Toronto Raptors president after altercation was convicted of insurance fraud

Asking an actual question because I don't know. After reading it sounds good, is the policy working?
OK, I wasn't crazy. I had no idea WTF LatinX was until I saw this video.I saw that last night and then I re-read everything again a few moments ago. With the exception of the first item, everything else sounds reasonable. But the first item on the list has me scratching my head a bit. It seems to address mental health, Latino outreach and "broken windows" policing. My understanding of broken windows policing is an aggressive approach to minor infractions.
Insanity. You would think cops would be more concerned about other things besides reefer.

I'm starting to believe they go after this stuff so hard because most won't challenge their authority. It's easy revenue for the state and low pressure work for the cops. Solving crimes is hard so let's invent and prosecute insteadYou would think cops would be more concerned about other things besides reefer.

Only states they cannot work there in state. I do know that a lot of cops who are fired at one town/city go on to work at others quite often.2 New Jersey cops admitted they dressed in disguises and vandalized the cars of a man who filed complaints against them
This was really stupid, vindictive, and criminal.
Can they possibly get another LEO job in another state? I hope not.
That shouldn't ever happen if the hiring agency does due diligence in its background checks.Only states they cannot work there in state. I do know that a lot of cops who are fired at one town/city go on to work at others quite often.
