That is like saying well I guess his dad prefers Alabama over a school UT never plays. It's a complete doucher move by his father imho
Things change quickly. That laughing stock you speak of has won 2 out of the last 3 against Georgia.
Yes.
No I don't but considering UT isn't in the top 3 and UGA is it is certainly a very good possibility they are correct.
Why are people still wasting their time in this thread? The kid bad mouths UT, doesn't seem interested anymore and seems like he's not a good fit anyway. Move on and let's let this thread die and start talking about young men that are interested in being vols.
Its also been said that his dad was going to let him make his own choices and not push him to follow his footsteps.
Sounds to me like Cade got but hurt and decided he wasnt coming here. His dad is going to let him be his own man and right or wrong make a decision for himself.
I love UT but I wont make my son go there when his time comes. Will he be the player I was and have options where to play? Thats yet to be seen but theres a chance. If it happens I will give him my opinions but Im not going to force him to go somewhere he doesnt want to go.
There is a huge difference between allowing your son to make his own decisions and pushing him to play for a rival of your former team
This right here is why I would love for a kid like this to play at one of our rivals in UGA. The only issue I see if he goes to UGA is his path to playing time. He will be the headliner OL signee this year for UGA outside of Trey Hill (projects to be a guard) but will be caught behind the fruits of UGA's last two recruiting classes. As of right now their projected starting line-up on the OL in 2018 will look like this:
LT: Isaiah Wilson (RSFr.)
LG: Kendall Baker (Sr.), Pat Allen (RSJr.)
C: Laimont Gaillard (Sr.)
RG: Solomon Kindley (RSSo.), Ben Cleveland (RSSo.)
RT: Andrew Thomas (So.), Ben Cleveland (RSSo.)
Unless Cade learns how to snap the ball he will only be a serviceable back up until at minimum his 3rd year on campus. If UGA starts to drop off I wonder how well a kid with the kind of demeanor I have been hearing about will take that.
Absolutely, but youre taking what was said on a message board as the truth. If everything that was said on the message boards were true. Gruden would be our coach, we would have the #1 recruiting class in the nation and we would never lose another game.
Quit taking everything said on a message board as gospel. If you dont see it yourself 99% of the crap thrown around isnt true.
Maybe they won't but UT has won a NC much more recently than UGA and to claim that UGA is somehow here to stay simply because they had a good year this year isn't very realistic either. UGA will lose arguably the top two running backs in the league this year and the vast majority of their defense. The East will very much be up in the air next year and his chances of winning a championship at UGA aren't significantly better than UT's during the next four years
Calling his dad a douche is a bit over the top.. Try not to be so hurt by all this..
It is a doucher move. I am not hurt by any of it but it is what it is. I may raise a future hall of fame qb and he may play for Alabama but I can guarantee I won't encourage him to play there. Try not to be offended by everything
