I can promise you that the new coach will not do a better job than Fulmer. No one out there is better (that will come to UT). New coach will be fired within 4-5 yrs. The following one may be great. Next one will fail. Get ready!
Calm down.
He must be reading the stuff on govolsxtra. They are a complete joke and do not know what is going on. They said that Kelly was the leading person so ESPN ran with it. If they knew anything all signs are pointing to Kiffin. Honestly I think it will be Kiffin and he may be back. Who wouldnt want to play in a pro offense. We will not run the spread at UT. The spread will be obsolete in college football in a few years anyways.
David Oku of Carl Albert, also is leaning towards staying, but will look closely at the system the new coach will install.
“If they keep a similar style of offense and I like the new coach, then I will still go to Tennessee,” Oku said. “I don’t see any reason to change my mind when I like everything about the school and the city. But I don’t like the spread, though. That’s my only thing. If they don’t go with a guy that’s going to run the spread, then I will be happy. I just don’t like all the hurry-up style of offense.”
He's out in Oklahoma, hearing all the garbage about Leach to Tennessee.
You are correct, sir. He flat out said he doesnt want to play in a spread offense and that he thinks the next UT coach will run the spread.
When Kiffin is announced and he sees that UT will run a pro-style offense he will come back.
I wouldn't be surprised if Giles comes back too - that is if UT even wants him back.
The point is, don't fret about losing a commit until the new HC is announced. He will be able to bring in some of the other talent that is out there as well.
You gotta be freaking kidding me. We don't need to lose Oku and Giles. Why would you wait until now to start looking around? You say you are dedicated to somewhere and won't sway and then go and pull something like this. I'm sorry but this generation's high school athletes are hyped up premadonnas who don't know the meaning of giving your word or taking accountability for your actions.
