We should have won that game. For the first time ever, I think Chaney called a good game and we have every chance it the world to beat Georgia. When you drop wide open TD passes you aren't gonna win in the SEC. We had our chances and blew it. CP is amazing, we all know that, but he really screwed us with that drop today.

Sorry guys, don't think I can afford Dooley's buyout this year. Maybe after I'm reincarnated a few times.

No one in there right mind predicted an undefeated season! I said 9-3 and that is still very attainable with the remaining games we have. We needed 52 pts because the defense hasn't stopped anybody all year, this isn't the 1st time. We score 44 pts and that's not enough, sorry that not on the offense. This is the worst defense I've seen UT ever have in 44 yrs of watching them play! Our special teams are still dismal as well. Blocked punt, missed extra pt, missed field goal, short punt! Sorry Bray did not lose this game he was merely trying to get us back in it. Patterson catches that TD pass then the game is tied anyway! Dooley haters shut the #@$% up and stay off this site posting bull@#$%. Sal's got to shore up the defense or he want last one season. Special teams better staighten up or he's gone to.

Moral victory my a$$. They handed us 21 points on a platter and we still didn't have a chance. Defense is horrible, they give up big play after big play. I see very little improvement in our team this over the last two years.

I've been waiting for 3 years to see some improvement out of this team, and today I finally saw some. If they make some adjustments on defense, and continue to fight like they did today, then they lose only 2 more games at the most this year.

Are you serious? We were suppose to get the horse dukey beat out of us but instead we had a chance to win in late in the fourth. Yea I know, it sucks not being able to pull it off. But I find it quite funny how the VN mood goes form, "We suck, GA is about to beat us 50-0" to "What the hell? Why didn't we beat the 5th ranked team in the country" Can't we just see the good in this game. Even had we won the Florida game, and been as good as we thought we were in the beginning GA would have been favored, and still would have beaten us.

I thought Georgia was for real this year, but there not going anywhere with their D. It was almost as bad as ours.

I will let you borrow a mop, broom and bucket . You will have to buy your own cleaning supplies . Apparently Stock broker ceo types cannot afford to buy stuff to clean with . IE : pony up dude , It only takes about 10 million .

Changing to the 3-4 takes 2 YEARS to get it down pat in the NFL and our kids are only 5 GAMES into it so all smart people expected alot of mistakes.

Running game was excellent by last years production and against the number 5 team in the nation.

Our kids never gave up until the game was over and that IS how we expect Tennessee to play even against top ranked teams so I think we may have turned a corner there.

We still don't have a stacked SEC roster like all top SEC teams has but we are getting there and by the time CDD has 4 of his recruiting classes on campus and CSS has another year to get our kids perfected on the 3-4 we'll knock heads with anyone in the SEC and that inclused alaBubba.

I believe AD Hart is seeing the progress he wants to see and I see things moving in the right direction too.

We all want is NOW and alot faster but that's just not how college football works unfortunately.

Just 2 or 3 plays go differently and our Vols would have gotten a huge Win.

I'm proud of our footVol players and the coaches did a good job against a top 5 team.

Bottom line is this game was a good step forward and part of the improvement Vol fans (should) want.

I am totally absolutely convinced that this is as far as Dooley can take us. We are more competitive, and have improved, yet Dooley is not the kind of coach that can influence the result of a close game. It's time to thank Dooley for fixing the mess up, pay him his 5mill, and move on to bigger and better things... Bottom line is Dooley gave his all for Tennessee, it's just not enough.
