Man, there was so much going on then, who really knows why he left. The gambling allegations, his father's death, a contract ploy, marital issues... I don't think you can point to a single thing.

Tokyo is the only major city I ever found worth visiting, but you need to do it on an expense account! Akihabara (electronics district) was fascinating years ago; hard to say what it has become today.

Just wait til the NIL stuff in college sports really gets rolling; that's going to make gambling scandals look like a tempest in a teapot. There is no common sense left in this world, and no understanding of definitions ... like "amateur".

Different discussion for the moment. I speaking about the early 1990s when MJ retired. I'm fully aware of what may be coming with NIL. But let's focus on this one topic first.

Preach! Add Simone Manual woke attitude leading up to this Olympics after winning gold in 2016. I think it was the negative people around them. There's too many out there in the the culture who wants to believe whitey probably hated on them because they are in a sport dominated by white America. When you run off at the mouth or go along with that and perfrom subpar then your 15 minutes of fame is up like anyway and all your left with is wokism.

The swimming team has 21 medals. I don't think it's been an impressive showing but they've had a few highlight moments. That's still a lot of medals.

Do you think Jordan is going to make anything be aired that may put him in a bad light? His media is just as scripted as anything that comes out of the White House. Hell, Ahmad Rashad was the personal media spokesman for Michael Jordan. He has controlled his own narrative for years, so don't just think you are getting the entire story around anything related to Jordan.

That's what I've never understood. Why is it so hard for these celebrities to just stay TF off of social media? Outside of this forum and a couple of others I belong to, I'm completely off the grid when it comes to this. I don't have a Facebook account. I don't have a Twitter account. I don't have an Instagram account. I don't have a Snapchat account. I'm not on TikTok. I'm not on any of these outlets and I don't feel like I'm out of the loop on anything (important). I read the news on MSN every morning and if any important news breaks throughout the day I get notifications from Yahoo news and sports.
