My buddy recorded my deadlift today as I tried to up my max to a measly 235lbs, previously 225lbs. Just so happened that I hurt my lower back pretty bad, heard/felt at least 2 vertebrae pop. He said I had okay form but I could clearly see where I had messed up. Sadly, I'll be out of commission for a bit again. This really sucks. Maybe I should just start high reps instead of going heavy, especially since my main goal is to cut as much as possible.
