The Weightlifters Thread

That's not from the actual NO though, its from the fillers, tons of magnesium. But I know exactly whatcha talkin about Willis! Esp Gaspari products, pair SuperDump with SizeOn and not only are you blowing up the crapper, its so freakin rank its makes you vomit.

True enough, but damn I've had some good workouts with that stuff. Just gotta keep the manpons handy.

And yes, protein 100% helps you. It rebuilds muscle fiber, your body needs it, and most people with active lifestyles don't get enough.

It takes me about 45 seconds to make a protein shake. I can't imagine not having enough time for that.

What he said.

Open Shaker
Scoop Protein
Pour Milk/Water
Close Shaker
Shake for 30 Seconds
Chug

I'm an ON guy myself (Vanilla Ice Cream currently). I probably should be taking more than I currently am.

One word of advice that I have found helpful is to break down and get a Magic Bullet. My girlfriend bought one a year ago and now I don't know what we would do without it. It takes no time at all to get a shake mixed and down.

Hm... so it's just protein and water/milk?? I guess I thought it was some kind of smoothie. I feel like an idiot now.

We sell those at work. I'll have to look into it.

Whole milk, It burns fat, builds bones, healthy skin, higher T levels, and builds muscle.

"Milk is for babies. When you get old you drink beer."

But no really, my understanding is that most bodybuilders avoid milk.

Bodybuilders take their diets to another level. Nothing wrong with milk. GOMAD exist for a reason, it works.

Now matter how many times I hear mention of this product my mind goes straight to the silver bullet.

What is a plate circuit? I've done circuits for weight training class, but never heard of anything called a plate circuit.

Anybody ever try a plate circuit? Curious to see what y'all think about it

I've been doing them off and on since you first asked. Today I think I screwed up my shoulder doing halos with a 35lb plate. Felt like something popped in my right shoulder blade and it didn't really hurt. Then I started to do inclined sit-ups and it caught fire. I packed it up after 30 mins at the gym and headed home. FWIW, it's the shoulder that I've had trouble with but in a new spot.

What protein do you guys use? I stopped by Max Muscle on the way home and was looking at protein and some appetite suppressants. I was looking at Triple Whey.
