I lift for size mainly, doing 3 sets of 6 reps with heavy weights
Diet is a lot of protiens, limited carbs and sweets
This routine works very well for me.
I have a Bowflex and the Bowflex select dumbbells for days I can't make the gym, and I can get an excellent workout for everything except legs at home.
I'm not much of a cardio guy. I'm lazy. I will run a couple of times on a treadmill, use the Gazelle, and swim a lot in the summer.
Anybody ever hired a personal trainer?
I've just done everything on my own. And it worked well. But it's hard to stay motivated lately. I constantly question what I'm doing, and can't commit to a schedule. It's frustrating.
nope, if you know what you are doing, you just need to find yourself a workout partner. If you do that, then you'll have another reason to go to the gym, and they will help you stay motivated as well.
I'm thinking about becoming a personal trainer with some massage therapy...but not sure about getting the clients...:ermm:
That's the best thing. I don't like working out with someone, but I know if I have it scheduled to meet a friend at a gym, or go with them to the gym, then I get my workout done because I definitely am not the one to break the plans!
Yeah but it makes it hard too when the other person is the one that always seem to cancel.
