Like I said. I'm waiting to see. I'm nervous about this, and the Greenland rhetoric more so. My point has been that trump didn't promise isolationism, no matter how one feels about it.

You're inventing ****. You do you.

I don;t think I have even broached that subject, not really. At the end of the day, the people saying this isn't any different this time are still correct.

I am thinking the typical Trump voter is confused because taking over countries wasn't on their list.

I'm not an expert on all the politics involved with the Maduro thing, other than He's not the duely elected president. He lost that, and then through it out and chased the victor out of the country.

Not specifically all about drugs, but it does have to have a cover story.

However, I'm fairly certain this is about the politics of being the big boy in our own neighborhood, which we haven't been. There are commie arms factories in Venezuala. Chinese spy ship in and out. Russia comes and goes. Etc., etc. Cuba is still our little friend 90 miles away. This is more to do with protectionism. Right or wrong? Undecided myself. But, can't argue the underlying issues.

You seem to be working really hard to justify this to yourself.

Who knows if they’re accurate? I do know that there have been executions of citizens in the streets though. A lady my wife works with is from there and she’s been telling stories from her family that’s still in Venezuela about the atrocities for several years now.
That's par for the course in these type regimes. Take away any means of self protection from government. Terrorize your own citizens. Rape them of anything they own for your personal power and wealth building.

Hmm...Sounds an awfully lot like another country's agenda??

The Orange man didn't take him out of the country because he wasn't duly elected, he did it because he wouldn't do what he was told. The Orange man probably already forgot the name of the new guy. You think that Orange man cares if the guy is elected? 😂

No. And haven't watched much at all about it. Just saying it's naive to think drugs is the only thing at play in his removal. Much more than that going on. Of course, that was not all that hard to infer from my post.

But...is it time to get those not of our hemisphere that want to destroy us out of our hemisphere? Sure.

Did we help create alot of this crap with our southern friends? Certainly. Tom Cruise was one of the pilots.

Our foreign policy has always been our own worst enemy. And it has transcended both parties in the WH because it's the machine that runs everything, not the pawns.

Of course he doesn't care. But if a laundry list is necessary, that's one of the dirty socks. I'm just saying that and the drug kingpin angle are nice stories to tell instead of what this is really about. Regaining control of our own backyards. Protectionism. Could be a good thing. Could make things worse.

Well, the drugs are a very small part of it, but its a transformation of the global order.

My bet is that new puppets isn't taking too many calls from China or Iran. 😂

Its not high on the list, first things first... do what I say, which mean don't answer the phone from China and Iran. Rule number 2, don't forget rule number 1.... or we are going to take a little walk.

The U.S. can destroy many enemies without shots being fired. I would suggest people listen to Putin over the last decade or so.

If history has any say in how this turns out, we will go in with all the right moves. Then walk away and leave it to be worse than when we went in. Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Abandonment is how we turned Bin Laden from "friend" to foe.

Probably.

If Americans want to be the top, someone has to be at the bottom.

I don't vote, but looking at it... I'm torn on the subject. I understand the bigger picture "why", but it is kind outside the scope of what I consider right.
I surely won’t support any Democrat candidates while they push Islam. I won’t support Republicans while they support Judaism. It doesn’t make sense for Christians to vote for anyone other than those who accept Christ.

When one steps way back and notices the big picture, that’s all any of this leads to. Christians are being persecuted across the globe, including inside the US, and this “two party system” is doing everything it can to distract from it.

I don't vote, and I am torn on this for moral and ethical reasons but the world can be a cruel place. Its hard to know how I feel because I agree with parts of the "why", just not my thing to do it outside the U.S.
