By definition we can't really poll people on whether they want to be free. I do agree with you that some cultures don't do well with freedom. Democracy's not for everyoneDo you know if they wanted to go authoritarian or not?
A big mistake we make as Americans is assuming everyone wants a Democratic form of government. Not everyone is into Apple Pie, Hulk Hogan, and Bald Eagles
They're going to do that without troops on the ground? I don't think this is a good analogy. I think Hong Kong is probably a better one
Arguing over the degrees of intrusion is pointless. There was an intrusion, it was significant, we assert ourselves there in a significant way and Trump even expressly reserved the right to do it again if the new leadership doesn't measure up to our standards.
What if a new leader emerged who would put an end to the drug cartels, but was an avowed socialist and a vocal critic of Trump. Think he/she would last long? Nope.
Yes, I think so, but Vikings were there, might as well invade.didnt the viking colonies fail entirely?
A representative or constitutional Republic is a form of democracy.
Idk. It does feel like that, but I do think when certain events take place most of us put everything else aside and agree it was a good thing. When Obama got Bin Laden, I remember most everyone saying, okay, good job. Good call, needed to happen. This issue with Maduro certainly isn’t that. I’m just saying if the chips were down and we were actually into it with Russia, very few on here would even give Putin a second thought upon his demise. And if Biden had taken down Putin, many Republicans would be supporting Putin. We don’t have a two party system. We have a puppet state with too many people who refuse to recognize any common denominator.
LOL The Greatest Generation says hi.Obviously observation. I'm calm. Heck I wrote all you guys off a decades ago.
You guys enjoy the time we have remaining..I was hoping maybe the orange man could it make it work a little longer...that doesn't seem to be in the cards.

wow. What's it like knowing everyone around you is an idiot?
So now what's up to us to determine what's best for the people of another country?I hope we can agree that the people of Venezuela did not want Maduro. I am of the opinion that they could not remove him. We did them a service by doing it for them. Lots of pitfalls ahead but removing him is a good move for the people of Venezuela
Like I said.....I think that is what makes this so painful, I'm not even bright. If you're brain dead or brain washed, nobody is going to be able to help you.
As soon as they get come on TV and tell you the Taliban is back to being your enemy, you'll say how that makes sense and we can do Afghanistan II.
Cheeses man the 'corpse isn't even cold' yet and you Socialists are already condemning everything about this. We removed a murderous thug. That was the first step. Take a ****ing breath and let's see how this plays out. Of course there is going to be some stumbles. You will have plenty of time to Monday morning quarterback. I am very happy for the people of Venezuela. Apparently the Democrat party is not.So now what's up to us to determine what's best for the people of another country?
