I think it is about oil as a strategic resource. We don’t need oil (US is or can be self sufficient) but it would be nice to be able to control resources available to others like China.

Beyond oil, it is just a bad look to have China so active in the Americas and to have such a large dysfunctional country in our backyard.

If we can lean on the modified regime to distance themselves from China, make some human rights improvements, and take a small step toward democracy I would declare success.

I am concerned that his trial in the Peoples Democratic Republic of NewYorkistan will turn him loose because... Trump.

Oh its not that bro...not only that but the US was arming the terrorist group and coordinating war plans. They're the good guys now.

Heck some them made it to the oval office.

US military was dying from the same groups that they were supply. They're friends now...they're sorry about the buildings.
