The Runner's thread

I'm still lifting fairly heavy and can't muster both the same day. I'm doing a lift-run-lift-run-lift-run schedule right now. With my frame, I can't really afford to drop the heavy days or I'll turn into a rail. It isn't perfect for distance training, I know, but it's what works for me.

I do good leg workout and just do a slow, hilly run to finish. Actually keeps soreness down for me.

Friend of mine who is an ultra runner puts duct tape on his nips to prevent chafing. Anybody else ever do that?

I pull my shirt off after 5-6 unless i use Body Glide. He said band-aids fall off.

None of that stuff has ever worked. I sweat alot during hot weather runs (which are almost always around here) and no matter what shirt I wear I have issues on longer runs.

That's me ho. Seriously contemplating running the marathon without a shirt.

Just heard this guy was running the Cincy Marathon in a pair of borrowed shorts. They wouldn't stay up so he pulled them off and tried to finish naked. Cops had to taze him. He tried to say it was part of the running culture to finish no matter what.

Never seen a glide shirt. Who makes them?

stupid phone with it's auto correct. I don't even remember what I was typing earlier. Nike calls the material drifit

I mostly have adidas stuff and it is a lightweight shirt

Though I recently got a Saucony shirt that is a lightweight and it could be one of the most amazing running shirts I have ever touched

Saucony

Which of those shirts?

I run in the DriFit, UA running shirts or Adidas 360 stuff and they all do the same crap to me. If the saucony is a solution, I'm ordering them now. Which shirt?
