2 miles today total 284.4

Finished my marathon. 5 hrs 15 min. Had a to walk most of the last 2 miles due to really bad calf cramps. Mentally I was great the whole time.

Ran a bit with a guy that was an Ironman, Ultra runner and coached the NC State Tri team for 4 years. He was a 3:30 marathoner and finished this race in 5 hrs. Said the race was equal to a 33 mile road race. Another guy from Hawaii told me that it would hard to find a tougher race unless I did Pike's Peak.

Legs are sore today but nothing too bad. Think Im going to try an ultra next year.

props to you...I am impressed

not really.:crossfingers: they've felt a little "tired" and achey some afternoons, but pretty good compared to what I was feeling. def not where I want to be going into the race. I'm gonna shoot for a 31 flat and hope I can knock off a minute+ on the swim and bike legs.

The ultra guy I ran part of the way with told me about a race up the road from me called the Hellgate 100. 100k race that starts at midnight and the cutoff is 6 PM. Takes place in February and it is mandatory that you wear glasses. At night you only blink half as much and combined with the cold temps your corneas will freeze if you dont wear glasses. That is insane.

I normally don't run much anymore since I do crossfit. I'm going out of town Friday and was on call this past weekend so I slept in today. So a nice little run seem to do the trick.
 
2.65 miles in 24:10. A little more each time out.
I have about 12 more days to push myself. That'll give me 3 days of light duty and 1 day of rest before my race.
 
I still have mine going...though I have been playing a lot of basketball so I haven't been tracking my mileage nearly as much
 
14 miles this week...been busy, about to move...plus, the hot weather has limited my outdoor runs and I don't like going long on the treadmill. I really need to force myself to get up early for the distance runs.

Same here, I absolutely hate running on a treadmill

I still have mine going...though I have been playing a lot of basketball so I haven't been tracking my mileage nearly as much

I track it because my GPS does, but pretty much just head out to run now.

I go early because it's better on my dog.
 
3 miles this morning in 27:24. I have been running in the mornings too. Temps have been hanging in the low 90s till the sun is just about down around here.
 
Thanks tri. I use mapmyrun.com to map it out. just as I went over 3 miles the Gatorade G showed up on the map and said it was time for a Gatorade 02 break. They are gonna get their advertisments in one way or another.
