1st Cor 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
13:1¶Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity is love in action!! Charity is the height of Christian maturity.

Just as charity is love in action, works is faith in action!
James 2:14¶What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18¶Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

So it seems by this scripture that the only logical conclusion that one can come to is that real faith produces works.

Learning to be content

CONTENT, noun

1. Rest or quietness of the mind in the present condition; satisfaction which holds the mind in peace, restraining complaint, opposition, or further desire, and often implying a moderate degree of happiness.

We look to Jesus as our all in all and trust that whatever he supplies is just what I need. It's really liberating to have such a mindset!

Count your blessings and problems most of the time won't look so bad... If we choose to look at the good things God does for us it will help our attitude and outlook on life!!

Matthew 5:13¶Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

I remember trying to witness to my brother and his refusal to receive what I was saying. It frustrated me so much! I told my pastor about it and told him that you can lead an old stubborn horse to water but you can't make the crazy thing drink and his simple reply to me was astounding! He said, " yeah, but if you put a salt tablet under his tongue will make him mighty thirsty."
WOW, what wisdom!!!

So you just going to force it on people (like putting salt under there tongue) just like the president making people get the vaccine it causes a rebellion that's what you do when you force your beliefs on people. You don't put salt under there tongue they will despise you like this thread in the zone. You used to have friends this forcing hasn't helped you none. You have turned into a troll of the Bible and you keep posting this in here when no one wants you to you are trying to put salt under are tongues and you have pushed everyone away. You are messed up in the head if you think this is the way to witness. You should be able to witness that.

You obviously didn't understand what I was saying here. You don't have to read my post, you have that right. You don't have to click this thread, as a matter of fact it's completely up to you for even being in this thread.
The gospel is for whosoever will, if you won't receive it, that's your choice. But know this, if you reject God and his word, in death he will reject you. I tell you this simply because I care about you no matter what you think about me.

He isn’t rejecting G-d. He’s rejecting you and the hypocrisy that chases people from G-d.
I used to like you…still do honestly. You once behaved like a real person in the zone and everyone knows you’re a preacher. Then for some reason you felt you needed to pretend to be above it all. In baptist world they like to pretend that they are something they’re not. They have church world language and church world behavior. They pretend they don’t go to the liquor store. Going to the liquor store isn’t a sin. They like to Pretend they don’t use words like “****” when the letter writer Paul calls himself that very word. 114 is right. You’re hypocrisy here pushes people away. If you wanted to reach people here maybe you should be of us. you once were. Or at least pretend to be. Because right now you’re just preaching at us. And a wise guy once said if they go out from us they are not of us.

I expect this to fall on the deaf ears of a hardened heart

Nope, not preaching at anybody.... Just trying to get people to look up. Giving a devotional from time to time that whoever wants to read it can. As far as drinking, I don't. I don't use salty language no matter what you believe about me. That's the truth... I have never thought I was better than anyone else including the people on volnation.
I carried on way too much foolishness and was offensive with some of it and I realised that my speach wasn't seasoned with grace and I speak that to my shame.
As for Baptist, some are Pharisees and some are liberals. So are some in every denomination, not just Baptist.
You can call me a hypocrite if you please but you don't have any idea how I really am. I try to live according to the Bible to the best of my ability and if you think that is being a hypocrite, just help yourself. Do I get it all right? Of course not, neither do you.
Any how, it's a free country and nobody in the zone has to read anything I post, that's entirely up to the reader. Good day

I’m calling Bull **** on the bold.
G-d never commands anyone to not be silly or have fun. it’s actually the opposite is true. G-d has punished those who looked down on or judged the people of G-d for “acting silly”.

Again the way you come off in your posts are exactly as 114 described. If you wish to continue to damage the cause you claim to represent the by all means continue.
As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord as he wishes as opposed to the Pharisees way that Messiah spent so much time preaching against

Oh well, you are entitled to your opinion. I will try to be what I feel like God wants me to be and I believe the Bible teaches that I should be and you have that same God given right. I still cut up and have fun but I have chosen to do it in other areas. Anyhow, Carry on and enjoy life. It's not my intention to be enemies with anyone, but to try to be a help to people. Again, your opinion of me may never change, and that's okay if you want to keep it that way, That's entirely up to you.
My job as a preacher will always be to spread the word to all the world as much as is possible for me. So I will try my best to do just that!

To be fair there's alot of sad in this world and I'm human so I don't hate me, but I hate whatever it is in me that causes me to do or say things, or whatever it is that doesn't stop me from doing or saying those things that aren't pleasing to God.

Obviously there's question here on what those things might be.

I believe if someone thinks it's a sin to go in a liquor store and they go in a liquor store anyway, whether that's a sin or not is no one's say except God's, and I don't know but I'd bet it wouldn't be pleasing to him.

Just my 2 cents.

It does strike me that you claim you don’t use course language but spit arrogance all over the place with statements like “you can be wrong if you want too”. It would be less offensive to say “**** you”

Exactly. And well said. G-d is the judge of behavior. Some sin is defined by Torah and other isn’t. Messiah addresses this very thing by saying “if your eye causes you too sin….” A real world application would be pick up basket ball. I have a close friend that won’t play pickup basketball because he ends up wanting to fight someone almost every time. Pickup basketball causes him to sin. For almost everyone else playing basketball doesn’t produce sin. The alcoholic should avoid the liquor store. Everyone else not so much. The difference being my buddy doesn’t accuse everyone else of sin when they play basketball.
