I want to commend AJ Russel tonight. I know the final line wasn’t great, but that guy wanting the ball after what he’s been through right here before the draft tells me all I need to know about him. Glad he’s a Vol and I hope he gets a chance to end the Razorbacks season this weekend.

Did you hit 340 against college pitching?
Love Ensley, but you can’t be mad at Switch’s comment. Bro’s been in a pattern of hitting choppers directly to SS for double plays. No one hates it more than Hunter though and I’m sure he’s working on it. Baseball is such a cerebral sport that what you’re trying not to do is exactly what you do. It’s frustrating for us fans, but it’s so much worse for the players and Hunter has been killer for us in his career. I ain’t mad at all about the DP hits. I will always remember him tattooing the wall in Omaha.

I’m guessing the Friday, Saturday, Sunday starters in Fayetteville are:

Doyle
Phillips
Russell

Tony showed zero confidence in Kuhns, as he was the only pitcher who didn’t make an appearance when it was all hands on deck.

With those 3 starters, your available bullpen arms are: Arvidson, Loy, Sneed, Krenzel, Behnke, Franklin, and maybe Kuhns. Breedlove could pitch an inning.

I feel pretty good about that group in a 3-game series. In fact, I think a 3-game series is a better format for this team now that Russell, Arvidson, Krenzel, and Franklin look to have made strides in the postseason to become reliable dudes.

I can’t wait for Friday.

he's hit into 3 in SEC play and 9 for the season, not sure I see much of a pattern. Kilen has 7 and Curley 6. This isn't a thing

Not just that, came off the mound, popped in the clubhouse for just a second, and was back on the rail and locked in the entire rest of the game. Always the first out to greet guys coming back, kept the fans involved, and had a really cool moment with Krenzel in between innings where they huddled up and AJ was encouraging/coaching him.

I still think he will do BIG things in pro ball, but even if he doesn't, he will be an all time favorite of mine. A genuinely good soul.

Rucker crying about the “slur” on Twitter with several tweets. I watched will Heflin’s postgame show, he said “I don’t have a problem with it. It’s baseball, we’ve all said some things. Trust Me”

I 100% agree with Heflin. Wonder if they’ll have a back and forth on pod about it.
If Rucker was half as important as he thinks he is, he'd be world dictator,
