I hate that he’s making me take up for an opposing coach who called one of our guys a f****t but that’s just the effect Wes has on people I guess
I worked for a minor league baseball team, the stuff I heard at 10 and 11 was similar. Hell I work in a hospital now the stuff I hear on a daily basis. It is what it is just move on.

No issue with what he actually said and I think it’s funny cause you don’t even hear it anymore; that was our insult of choice 25-30 years ago lol. My issue is that if the roles were reversed you know w/o a doubt the baseball world would crucify CTV.

My god man i remember when South Park was still big with us as kids, middle and high school and we called each other that so much it might as well have been “dude” lol

Underrated moment when slumping Chapman got a check swing infield single...kept the rally going ....from there we got it done!
That play was a little payback from the baseball gods for hitting 5 hard hit balls directly at Wake players in previous innings. We hit some shots at folks, then we get that Chapman gift.

Also have to say the Marin bunt was as beautiful an execution as I’ve seen in forever.

Cannon’s dad (I assume) on the exchange with the catcher.

Not only this, which is egregious, but there were several things that were just dead wrong from the umpires. That clock violation called on Liam just as the 9th was starting was terrible. The music was still playing and Doyle was waiting on that as the batter stepped into the box. The ump did the signal to start and Doyle was obviously confused, as was everyone else. That ump had re-started the clock probably 20 times before that play if there was interruption/confusion. He was definitely angered with the Vols and made a couple of poor decisions.

It was apparent to anyone watching that the home ump had a beef with TN. He was waaaayyyyy unprofessional throughout the game and let his emotions best him.
He shouldn't ever work a game in Knoxville again. Keep him close to home. In Arkansas, as it turns out.

Someone posted that he is from Arkansas. Hmmm

Loved it when the infield started to go to the mound and Doyle told them to get back and leave him alone. He was in his own zone. And he started turning his back on the batter before each pitch, almost like he was controlling his own emotions. I don't know if that was deliberate but it sure worked. One hell of a pitching performance by Doyle tonight.

Oh wow. I was afraid of that. Something needs to happen regarding that. Not sure what can be done.

Reactions: Orange.
Because it was uttered right in front of an umpire. Poor judgment.
And their coach yelling F***ING F***** in front of the umpires warranted a big ol' nothing? Couple real high pitches on Clark warranted nothing?

Good riddance to Wake Borest. As much trash as people talk about our guys celebrating all the time at least we aren't pure garbage like that team seems to be.
