This does sounds right, but it is the few teams where fans seem to appreciate the sport more that worry me. The grass just has to look greener. Here is to hoping he sees clearly. Ark is probably the only one that I wonder about. Assuming he actually turned down the jobs that have come open.

I hear you, but I think as long as we see him obviously pouring his heart and soul into the program, we will stand behind him even during setbacks.
Keep in mind that Johnny, Phil, Cuonzo and Uncle Jerry all turned on the fans because they thought they should be given a free pass despite their egos having outstripped their effort by miles.
As long as Tony's effort is anywhere in the vicinity of what has shown so far, I think the majority of fans will take his comments as constructive criticism.

They are no SEV as a whole has made a pitiful showing for 13 teams in. Ole Miss tried a comeback but had no business being down 12-3 in the first place. Little Rock is all over LSU at the moment. The league could very well send only 2 to the supers if LSU loses out of 13 teams. Maybe 3 if I counted wrong.

I am curious about the criticism about crowd noise. We sit near the top behind home plate. There were times tonight when I could not hear my wife yelling stuff at me standing right beside me. It was loud and I was standing at least half the time.

Ah ok, fair. Though they and NC State both seem to get the little brother treatment from UNC and Duke (just in different ways).

If they did reseed, Arkansas would be the new #1 seed. Auburn would be #2. UNC #3. If they win, LSU would be #4. Then Oregon State, Florida State, Coastal Carolina, and we would be #8 and hosting a super.

It’s hard for these guys to live a program they created. The guys who make programs what they are almost never leave even for better “programs” on paper. And baseball is a lifer sport on top of that.

That said, things have obviously changed. Miss St got O’Conner to leave Virginia after all
