Thomas wouldn't fit in the titans defense, Clements would have been way too expensive, Drew getting 6 million a year is so far out of whack it's not even funny, and Henry may be back.....it will be OK. I would rather sit back and watch other teams OVERPAY than be back in salary cap jail in 2 years.

Good point but Thomas, with his skill set, would work in just about any D. The man covered Chad Johnson in man to man, played DE and played safety in 1 game.

i'm not too worried about the running back position. they can always fall back on chris brown.
It is a possibility, but I would be very, very surprised if Brown is a Titan next year. The Titans obviously don't think he is the answer and as a free agent I doubt he will want to come back after falling to 3rd on the chart last yera.

The Bills got rid of him because they wanted to avoid having to renew his contract, salary arbitration, etc. The same reason they got rid of Henry.

You are right, Thomas is a very versatile player and I would have loved to see him in Nashville I just think they may be better off drafting a more prototypical DE with the price tag that came with Thomas unless the Titans were going to a 3-4.

Good point. No since is paying for a "jack of all trades" when you can spend less and get what you really need

Better yet, who would want Brown? Are teams pounding down his door asking for his services?

Give LenDale a chance to grow into the job before tossing him overboard folks. Not saying we don't need to sign a quality back if Cheese doesn't re-sign, just saying White has the tools, so give him the time...

I don't think he has the tools. He reminds me of a lesser version of Ron Dayne.

You called him signing with Denver/post the link to the rumors about it, and I didn't say anything about it. Others mentioned that it was still possible for the Titans to re-sign him. It's all good. :peace2:

Oooohhhhh...Titans sign FA Kerry Collins.

Thats right. Here we come.

WTF are the titans thinking?!?!? After watching him play last year, Collins has to be one of the worst QBs I have seen in years. The guy couldn't hit wide open receivers on quick slants or simple 8 yard button hooks. Instead of signing free agents that can make impacts, they sign a guy that, in this point in his career, would be lucky to be 3rd string on most NFL teams...

I know, this is kinda what all Titans fans are trying to figure out. Collins is just a backup. Emergency plan. (knock on wood)

But they are dragging their feet big time.
