agreed. i don't think Dan Mullen falls in the latter category, except for the fact the gruden thing has such the life of it's own...but i totally agree with your point.

i'm afraid though, with the self created expectation for Gruden, a lot of guys that would be "plan A" guys are just relegated to plan b, wrongfully so.

There are some hires I would like a lot. It’s probably too late for all of them, save Gruden.

You have to realize how MSU is viewed in Mississippi. It considered a cow pasture school and any one with any resources goes to Ole Miss.
