I don't think anyone can hate him regardless of what he does because he IS Tennessee baseball. So the years at TCU and Mizzou don't count as a "start"? And I highly doubt our fanbase will see it that way
Disappointing end to the season.
Whaddaya do but watch last years World Series Final?

GBO!!!!
Tony will always be loyal to TN because we were the spot that gave him his first HC gig. He has talked about how thankful he is for UT giving him his first shot. I think he’s more loyal to DVH than anything Arkansas related.I don't think anyone can hate him regardless of what he does because he IS Tennessee baseball.
That'd arguably be the worst part of him leaving.. former players would follow him wherever he goes regardless of being Tennessee alums. I'm sure they value being Tony's players more than being Tennessee players.
I was the first to freak out over LSU.. Been pretty adamant since he said no to that job that only Arkansas and maybe Texas (purely financial reasons there) could poach him.Tony will always be loyal to TN because we were the spot that gave him his first HC gig. Not sure why we do this every year, about him possibly leaving somewhere (not picking at you). MSU, A&M (we know they offered), have all been open in his time here and he hasn’t left

So Van Horn has zero titles in over two decades of trying, while Tennessee is in the middle of a historic college baseball run.I look at like this. Tony took a team that was on life support and in 7 years won it all when no one else could .He continues to bring in the talent. I expect he'll keep the Vols in the mix for years to come I'll give him a few Mulligan's.Van Horn been there 23 years, no title.
Texas will have Schloss so long as Del Conte is their AD... he and Schloss are swinging buddies... Arky is pretty much "The Last Temptation of Christ", Tony V versionI was the first to freak out over LSU.. If we're being honest, their stadium is light years ahead of ours even when our renovations are completeSo Van Horn has zero titles in over two decades of trying, while Tennessee is in the middle of a historic college baseball run.
We are completing the renovation of the Lindsey Nelson / Vitello Palace.
In what world is Arkansas baseball ahead of Tennessee ?
I'm curious about what our place will look like next season. Is the difference basically capacity with their stadium seating in the outfield areas ?full stadium seating in the outfield areas ?If we're being honest, their stadium is light years ahead of ours even when our renovations are complete
When DVH started winning 20 years ago.I'm curious about what our place will look like next season. Is the difference basically capacity with their stadium seating in the outfield areas ?
I wonder during regular season games (even SEC series) if they fill up all those seats ?
Arkansas historically (back to the 50's & 60's) is a football school. When did the state become baseball crazy ?
It was a disappointing result but I suppose hosting and winning a regional in your championship defense is actually quite rare. And making a Super Regional while losing to who I presume is the remaining favorite is a pretty good result given how we played in April and May.
Farewell to Hunter Endsley who has two of the all time Tennessee baseball plays to his credit. Hopefully next year they can make it to Omaha.
