A Year later the Volunteers again in a close game vs a Midwest foe for the 2nd Round except this time they finished.

Purdue will be going down and the Vols will advance to the Elite 8

I don't disagree....but the REFS didn't turn the ball over and over to Iowa in the 2nd half

The refs allowed Iowa to repeatedly foul us in the process of making steals. Then on the other end they called phantom fouls on us repeatedly. The refs really worked overtime trying to hand this game to Iowa.

Yeah, I don't know if I agree with Barnes on that one. Have him ride the bench the first couple mins? Sure. Whole OT period? I don't think so....

But what do I know? We pretty much dominated OT. Really wish we could have comfortably sustained the lead in the 2nd half, but that's basketball for ya.

I don't care how ugly the game is, you take a W in the big dance and like it. GBO!

Horrible calls was made against our Volskast 3 minutes of regulation. Yes we shouldn’t have been in that spot but the foul on that clear block was horse sh$t and that block that’s grant had that got called a jump ball was even worse. Glad we hung on but damn we don’t get many breaks
