This is a message board for analysis on the game. The old "you are not Red Auerbach" argument is worthless as reference to the local media. I like Lionel as a coach. I think he has done a lot for Memphis, but he needs to take the Doc Rivers route. Doc did not have the accolades being thrown upon him pre-big 3. He had the same type of problems. Just be a great motivator, a great teacher, and just let the players play. That's my only criticism of Hollins. As a previous poster said, Del Negro is an awful coach, but he is letting his player play.

Nerd ain't interested in being the coach. He's interested in the team winning with the players and coach we have or change the parts if it ain't gonna get us wins. Duh people.

This. I really like Hollins, but as I said no less than 35 times, if he is a problem he must be shot.


Also, I am very interested in being the coach. Good paying gig, and hopefully you get a Mike Brown sorta deal where you get fired and they pay you 8million to sit at home and eat ice cream.

If you're only in it for the ice cream, you should not be hired.

Ill be honest with everyone in this thread. I was not expecting a W in game 1. I know we've win previous game 1's against the spurs and thunder but history shows that most stolen home court W's come in game 2. Game 2 is the game to watch. The Grizz played like dog poop and they have a lot of work to do. But I've always felt that if they were going to steal a game, it would be in game 2.

We have a good chance to do that. We just have to rebound at all, and play Tony Allen at all, and have ZBO more than 20 minutes
