The thread concerns Stephen Rivers and how horrible he played. What caught my eye was yates, in his consummate football knowledge, thought that Ole Miss was on par with vandy. What the dipsquid fails to realize is that Ole Miss was ranked 15th in the country. Most knew that vandy sucked and most knew that Ole Miss had a pretty good team.
I laughed when Yates said that winning those SIAA conference championships was probably more difficult the winning the SEC today. The Southern had some real powerhouses back then, such as Sewanee, Southwest Presbyterian (Rhodes), Nashville College, and Cumberland College!Vandy Championships
