"I think we will lose to WKU and probably win 2 SEC games and go 4-8, but on the uptick. I think the team will improve vastly over the course of the year and by the end of the year, we are back excited for football."
So if they win 2 SEC games and are 4-8 then that leaves only 2/4 OOC games as wins. So this guy is essentially saying they will lose to WKU and Houston but win two SEC games? WKU and Houston are respectable opponents, but I am having trouble following his logic here.
this was posted in the FF but seems relevant to this conversation. someone in Vegas put the odds of us beating Vanderbilt the same as us beating Bowling Green, 93%

"We will compete with many SEC teams, and we will win some of these games. I hope I don't have to eat my words, but even though I'm a pessimist by nature, this is how I see things going forward."

According to Vandymania Vanderbilt leads the SEC in returning defensive productivity. You can't make this sch itt up.

Outside of an abysmal W/L record this year, my prediction for Vandy in 2015 is that Mason is going to be so hyper-conscious of his QB management failure last year that he will roll with either Freebeck or McRary long past the point that it's clear they're not fit for the job.
He just seems like the type of guy to overreact so wildly that he swings in the extreme opposite direction and does something equally as dumb as his original mistake.
That's a really good point. I could see it going one of two ways...either exactly as you describe, or he gives his OC complete control over QB management.
