yeh but the entire experience of playing football at Vanderbilt has to really blow. I mean you play in a high school stadium, zero tradition, no fan support and a crappy team. You only play in a real SEC atmosphere when you go on the road. You look up in the stands when you play at home to see a half full stadium of mostly visitor fans. The entire athletic experience would push me to one of those other schools.
I'm sure they rationalize it with the campus experience (the place is gorgeous, I'm not gonna lie) and getting to live in a prime spot on West End. Nashville would be an incredible college town.
I have no problem admitting that Vanderbilt was one of my top 4 schools coming out of high school to attend. They of course had all 32 of their gorgeous girls attend the on campus visits and the campus and being in Nashville does sell itself. If they had even an average football team they would be a perfect college town because Nashville is one of the best cities in the country, and if you don't think the girls at Vandy are good looking (there are a few, as I said not a ton though) then just go to a bar or any street in Nashville and see all the gorgeous women in sundresses, because Nashville does have a lot of attractive girls, just not as many are students.
