Dallas Cowboys to use virtual reality technology
he Dallas Cowboys have introduced a drone to film part of their practices this offseason and they will also use virtual reality to help their players improve in 2015.

A source confirmed the Cowboys have struck a deal with StriVR Labs, a virtual reality company with software that allows players a 3-D look at live action from practice.

Former Stanford kicker Derek Belch developed the program that was used at his former school as well as major programs, like Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson and Vanderbilt in the last year. Tech blog re/Code first wrote about the agreement with the Cowboys.




Sounds like a ringing endorsement not to use the product.

I consider Vandy to be better than MTSU in talent alone. In coaching, experience, and motivation, I give the edge to MTSU. Stockstill is a smart guy. He'll have the team ready to play. He knows what a marquee victory like that could mean to his program and probably his job.

I believe MTSU will beat Vandy, and I'm not so sure Vandy has more talent than MTSU either.

I think the coaching gap is way bigger than the talent gap, and in this case the coaching gap is going to be much more of a difference.

Vandy will have trouble beating anyone with an average defense. Their offense is that bad and it is lacking any type of depth. They are not going to score enough to win games (Even Houston always has a good defense). The teams who dont have a good defense still have better players overall (South Carolina, Texas A&M, Kentucky) its gonna be a 2 or 3 win year again. I could see them winning 3 or 4 if they got lucky and i could seem them going 1-11 just as easily. Its gonna be another long fall in Nashville. They were pretty damn close to being 1-11 last yr. They needed very lucky breaks to squeak by CSU and UMASS.

I think everyone doubts that except for the hatred-blinded, can't accept reality, completely in denial, laughing through the tears dumbf***s on Vandymania. What a bunch of know nothing clowns.

I guess it's because the reality of Vanderbilt football is a tough pill to swallow and if they can't find stable success, then damn it we shouldn't either. Misery loves company.

Its not just Vanderbilt though. No one can accept the fact that Tennessee is coming back and in a big way. The only teams that give us any credit so far are Kentucky and South Carolina and that's only because they have already seen a preview of what is to come.

let em talk. I dont really care too much. Deep down those vandy fans know they are going to be garbage once again. They couldnt win last yr with a cake schedule so they sure as hell wont be able to win this year. Hope they go on a long, multi-yr SEC losing streak like Ole Miss and Arkansas were on. Recruiting is awful again, Fans have checked out, tickets sales are low, they have MAC level offensive talent and Mason is on the hot seat. Lets see who gets the last laugh!

there is no way we lose to any of the teams we beat last year. SC is the only one that might give us fits but it seems like we have their number. now that we are a year older and another infusion of talent the close games should start falling our way at a higher percentage. (Mizzou, Georgia & Florida, i think we get 2/3) and then Bama, OK, Ark i could see us winning 1/3. I don't see any position where we took a real step back outside of MLB.

i hope they get boat raced on the way to a 1-11 season. when do they play Appy State? if its early there is no reason for them to lose, but if it is late in the season I could see them being too beat up/downtrodden to control that game. and give them a chance like CSU got last year.

They are the easiest team in America to prepare for. Load the box, rush the statue passers that they have and make them prove they can beat you in the throw game. Something they have gotten no better at in the offseason. I saw the Spring game. Couldnt even complete a pass with any QB. Robinette got all the reps too haha.

I just point out that I'd like to retire at some point, and hopefully much earlier than a lot of people and that won't happen if we shovel money down a hole just to live in a certain place, drive a certain car, etc.

When that gets on her nerves, I point out that I'd much rather go on vacations, have season tickets, etc....

yeh Taylor is gone. They still have Adam Butler who is pretty decent. But the prob with their DL is they have 7 DL on the whole roster. mostly 2 and low three star marginal players. Only 5 of which have ever played. Azubike was a non factor last yr bc he doesnt fit the scheme. Too slow to play OLB and not big enough to play DT. Hes very similiar to Jac Smith in that respect. Looks like tarzan plays like Jane. They got him playing DT at 265 or 270lbs half the time. They got Jay Woods whos about 280 and Torey Agee at 275lbs who is terrible. Nifae is a huge body but that kid was useless last yr. He was soft and got destroyed. He played 9 games and they stopped playing him at all. Point is they have about 5 or 6 overall to rotate throughout an entire season btw DT/DE. They just dont have any depth at all. Its derek dooley'ish actually. And on offense im not sure if Scheu will even be healthy by week 1.
