The Last Dance - A 10-PART DOCUMENTARY EVENT

Aww did I hurt one of the bronsexuals feelings?

Numbers don't lie. There is one goat and there is no logical debate.

One made up things to motivate and win. One made up things to whine about "top heavy af" etc.
One pushed and made his team better and improved his weaknesses to win. One left the team and ran to two of the top ten players in the league.
One had a ton of iconic moments. The Shot, the Shrug Game, The Hand Switch. One blocked a 50 year old Iggy who got 10 inches off the ground and had a bad back.

The only debate is where to rank Kareem, Magic, Bird, Russell, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan and Lebron.

Anyone who uses the terms "bronsexual" and "L36ron" can be immediately dismissed. Also, not being able to admit that LeBron is a better passer than Jordan goes beyond homerism.

I think Jordan is the greatest of all-time, but congratulations to LeBron James tonight, for winning your 4th championship and 4th Finals MVP! Who cares who's better? I don't. I appreciate greatness in the moment. It makes the journey much more enjoyable. Living in the past with hatred for the present is a very wasteful way to exist. You'll regret it 10-20 years down the line when LeBron's retired. I pity you.

MJ gets insecure after Lebron's 3rd title and finally green lights The Last Dance.

Lebron responds to The Last Dance with another title.

In addition to possibly becoming the all-time leading scorer, Lebron might double MJ in rebounds and assist.

Lowe on LeBron vs. MJ: The GOAT debate is different now

LeBron needs about 2300 points to become the all-time leading scorer in both the regular season and playoffs. Barring injury, I think he will have to get that done in the 2022 season, considering it's going to be another shortened season next year.

Lakers are gonna open as the favorite next year, they're probably going to improve their supporting cast, and another short season means fresh legs for old man Lebron. I won't be surprised if they repeat. Not sure if I have this right, but I believe AD can decline his option, which will put them under the salary cap so they can sign somebody decent, and then AD can re-up (and go way over the cap). Seems like they should trade Kuzma. He has more market value than he does on their team.

They need another great 3-point shooter, considering the decline of Danny Green. 3-point shooting was their weakness all year long.

But why? It's exactly what happened
Jordan is insecure so he green lighted a wildly entertaining documentary?

Lebron, one of the greatest basketball players ever, was motivated to win a title because of a Netflix documentary?

Grow up on both accounts.

I didn't say Lebron won because of a documentary. It does seem apparent, based on an interview with the film-maker, that MJ sat on the doc for almost 20 years and then decided to greenlight it because of the 2016 Cavs title.

Grow up? How about lightening up?

The Last Dance was not the reason LJ won a title this year. No correlation.

Of course it wasn't. Nobody said that. He won because he's the best player on a good team and he's among the most mentally tough, thus survived the bubble.

No correlation? MJ used made up slights as motivations and you don't think Lebron used TLD as motivation?

Not sure how to articulate it but LeBron with 3 championships with 3 teams will not help his legacy, imo. It’s hard to associate him with a franchise. Shaq and Leonard feel like the next best examples. I think it detracts from Leonard as well. Maybe it’s me though.

There are definitely some people who prefer a player who stays with one team, but MJ didn't stay with one team. Wouldn't it have improved his legacy to win with the Wizards? Seems weird that a title under any circumstances wouldn't help a legacy.
