Not even close to the same. Kiffin would absolutely come if offered the job. He all but campaigned for it last go around. In case you forgot he took the USC job when they had just gotten nailed by the NCAA, so that wouldn't discourage him.

I've heard him interviewed on Chattanooga sports station many times in last few years and he all but said he regretted leaving. He spoke very highly about the school and program and ended every call with Go Vols! Realize also that his former wife was from LA and had rather shop on Rodeo Drive than a mall in West Knoxville. I think he regrets leaving, and after being left at the airport I don't see him ever taking the USC job again.

I'd be just as happy with Freeze! There is no doubt that Kiffin & Freeze are best offensive minded coaches out there and could put some hope back in this program. If we don't get offensive production we will never win in this league.

Lol, who is dreaming of this? I think Lane would have been good in 2018 if it was the first time we were hiring Lane.

But, Tennessee fans have far more outrageous "beliefs" than thinking UT can just snatch other SEC coaches.

He did the same thing that any other coach would have done in that situation, it's the SO CALLED fans that are ridiculous with their actions both verbal and in print
