Guy I go with has a family member that is the superintendent at Southwind. We park at the maintenance area & walk in at the green on 9. Takes a whole lot of the hassle out of it
 
Nope. That's a heck of a tool to have for someone that doesn't play much.

It's the one thing I can actually do for free. There is a course here that has a little 4 hole par 3 course that you can play for free. Longest hole is maybe 125 yards. It's allowed me to perfect my short irons and putting.
 
I'd rather walk. I do most of the time. I play just over 4 strokes better on average walking. Is it bad that I've actually done the math to get that number?

I don't see how there would be a difference. I thought about getting a push/pull cart but that's about it.

Its just a mental and focus thing. I can focus much more on my game without having to focus on my cart buddy's game and where his ball is at. Plays I can walk up to my ball visualizing my plan the whole way.

True. Also carry less beer which may either help or hurt.

I definitely stay more focused on my next shot when I walk as opposed to riding.
