That man will hunt you down if you drive in his rough.
They're called KZG EL 250. They're the first irons I ever got and got them as a gift about 8 years ago. I just want to try something newer and have seen Burners for a decent price with good reviews.
I would get them man. I just checked and Golfsmith has them for $299 right now, which is a steal. I bought them last winter for $400 ($200 less than they were a couple months earlier) and they have improved my game more than anything.
I used to own some Cobra knock off irons (King Snake), and I would always buy the newest driver or woods instead of upgrading my below average irons. Finally I decided to splurge on the burners and I noticed a big improvement from the very first time I played with them.
I'm not sure you could find a better value right now for brand new game improvement irons than Burner 2.0s for $300
Nice. Thanks for the info. I've done the same and bought new driver, woods, wedges, but always had these irons. I think I'm going to get those from golfsmith as I saw them online as well and thought that was a great price.
No problem. I would hit them first at golfsmith just to make sure you're comfortable with them, but seeing as how you're playing old irons like I used to, those burners should feel amazing to you the first time you swing one.
Great driver except for the graphics on the white head. Haven't seen the black head yet.Does anyone here own a Taylormade R1 driver?
I hit with one awhile back at golfsmith and loved everything about it except I couldn't get over the ridiculous graphics on the head. Anyways, they've introduced the black R1 which looks magnificent. Thinking about buying one but I'm not sure. I never really trust the indoor demos and before I drop $300 on a driver, I'd like to see the actual ball flight outdoors in the elements.
Opinions?
Eh I just bought them so we'll see. I figure if I could hit my current irons decent enough I can figure out how to hit these.
I love my Burners. I got 20 to 30 yards more the first time I played them. If you've played with old clubs for a while these new Burners will surprise you.
I just bought a new TM Superfast driver and lost my ball on the first three holes. I got it at Golf Galaxy for 128.00.
Quit *****in your playing golf on a Wednesday vs workinglost my match play match today to a 12 handicap 70 yr old man . I shot an 84, but he shot an 86 from the green tees and took the right holes. But really, what 70 yr old hits it 260 and rolls in 35 foot birdies! wtfmf! I hate to lose dammit.
We were even going into 14 and I am on the par 5 in two for the 2nd time in 3 years. He mi****s a wedge on his 3rd shot, comes up almost 40 feet short, but hits the putt. I birdie too, but another push. Next hole I'm 180 on a par 3 and he's 140. Ended up losing that hole with a bogie and lost the match.
Props to him though. He could stripe it. I won't be alive when I'm 70, so he's ahead of my pace.
