I don't think people realize though just how hard it is to win on the PGA Tour, much less win a major. I think Tiger can be "back" without being quite as dominant as the Tiger of 5 years ago.

What is there to put the brakes on though really? He's won twice now in the past couple of months and looked as solid as ever this week. I agree that he needs to win another major to remove all doubt, but the swing is definitely there.

The swing has been there for months, he just needs to remain consistent. I can see Tiger winning here and there, but he's not back. It's a new Tiger imo

Who really in history has ever won very many majors outside of about a 5-10 year window in their career? Outside of Nickluas and Player I can't think of any. Maybe Nelson and/or Snead? It just doesn't happen all that much. Then again, except for Nicklaus none of them were winning majors before age 25.

I get it, but the media will pretend that they don't and start shoving Tiger back down our throats until I want to throw my TV and then he's going to lay a goose egg in his next tourney and they'll go back to bashing him.

still not yet the tiger of old though. Imo the measuring stick is if we get back to asking about tiger vs the field every week.

Newly competitive tiger for sure, but not yet the monster he once was. Hopefully he can continue to come back. No doubt it's great for the game

Im really considering going with the fade it seems more natural to me and it just seems like an all around easier shot to hit. Just cant decide

Quit deciding. Hit what's natural and you'll be dramatically better for it over the long run. Very few can make their stock shot one that isn't their natural shape. Those that can hit more balls than you'll be able to hit.

summer golf in switzerland is sensational

Christmas in St Moritz is one of my favorites, but this was golf in Wisconsin

was booked for a 7:30 tee time on the Palmer course played it, finshed about 11, had a quick lunch and went out and played another 18 on the Trevino course

shot 91, and 87

then got home and got the azz, from wife for playing the second 18

oh well, it was worth it...

Went to Edwin Watts tonight and got on their launch monitor. My swing speed was 762 mph. The vapor cone as the ball came off my driver was amazing.
