You get great distances with the six iron and if you can keep the driver under control, your driver distance isn't that bad either, especially if that's carrying it 220-240.

Although I'd like to be one of the long drivers, I don't think it's in me. The draw driver really helps me. The good thing is that I'm in the fairway probably 90-95 per cent of the time. The other times, I'm in the first cut. I'll holler back after I get the speed checked again. Thanks, Bill and GA.

If you're that consistent, I'll trade you my extra 40-50 yds for it

Let me know how you like it. I just bought a houseboat there and haven't had a chance to play there yet. Heard it was a decent course.

Loved the course, greens are great, love the layout, my only complaint would be the $55 green fee.

Was 4 over thru 9 (one triple bogey), was 5 over thru 17 and tripled 18, shot a 79, hope to improve on that next time.

Oh, there was deer everywhere

Thanks for the info. Not a bad round either with two triples. I figured there would be deer on the course. I see them all the time right there by the State Park entrance.

Tiger just hit driver and they said his clubhead speed was 119 and ball speed was 177. So I doubt we have anybody on here with 150 clubhead speed. Just sayin...

Bridgestone had a tent set up where they measured clubhead speed, ball speed etc. My club head speed was 112...same as the tour avg. I ask who had the fastest clubhead speed on tour. He said Bubba had the fastest at 130. So anyone claiming 150 is simply lying

Or, telling the truth and absolutely terrible at golf.

Trying to start playing a draw so i have a shot that i can rely on anybody got any tips?

Stick with a fade if you're looking for reliability.

If you're dead set about draw, a couple ways is to set clubhead where you want to end up and lign the feet up to the right. Swing along your body line.

The other being to go to the range with a couple towels under your arms and hit 3/4 shots to get the feel and experiment with the inside path to hit a draw.

Ive never had my swing speed measured, but I am a fairly long hitter. I average 320-330 and when I get after it can hit it 350-360. Of course I'm 6'5 and 280 so I have a lot behind the ball. One of our members here, SolidRockGolf, designs shafts for long drive guys and he said he could get me into a starter setup for competitions. Thinking about doing it. The rest of my golf game is hopeless so I might as well.

When I want to hit a draw I put my weight more on my toes setup. I hit a natural draw anyway, but that's how I go for it when I really want to draw it.

That's above average, slightly less than a tour pro. 150 mph swing speed would just about rip you apart. you have a slimmer chance of a 150 (or even 140) mph swing speed than bama does of hitting the ball 315 yards for his "keep it in play" drive.

A lot of golf shops have tents that aren't calibrated properly and are run by guys that aren't really trained. It's probable he got that reading as swing speed when it was ball speed. Just a guess.

Is it irony or coincidence that you think its a joke that I can hit a golf ball 315+ and I think its a joke that you're a mod, but at the end of the day they're both true?
