I don't know what has happened. Haven't shot 100 in 15 yrs, which is when I first played. Playing as a 9 for the past year and have been from a 6 to a 12 on and off, depending on how the year goes.
I'm afraid I just David Duval'd myself. 3 straight over 100 and the ball is going nowhere, or goes somewhere I didn't expect. I shot 81 and 76 the 2 rounds prior on the same course.
I can't believe it's happening, to be honest. I'm very competitive and this **** is killing me.
when you bought it, did you not do a fitting then...so that you have an idea how you want to set it up
good luck...I would still think that if they put you on a launch monitor
you would be in the ball park before you start tinkering
No but he constantly improves his lie and stuff. If he is in a divot, if in fairway or rough.
He is my friend, but I am competitive so it bugs me so bad.
He is also the guy who gets mad when I hit good shots and always gets pumped up if I hit a bad one.
Call his ass out & you keep his score. I had a guy do that & the 2nd time we played I called him out. You can't 4 putt & make a par when when you're lying 3 on the green. If its a friendly game or the course is in rough shape maybe do winter rules.
Yeah my one buddy calls him out sometimes, but he does it so much it's crazy and I am at the point where I am just focusing on hitting the ball better, not too worried on score. It's just I know I am beating him and he'll walk around like he is better cuz his 'score' was better.
As long as you know it don't sweat but I'm sure he knows it as well. If a guy is really stinking it up I don't care if he tees the ball up in the fairway but the guy that thinks he's good & you beat by 10 shots easy & then it's somehow 2 at the end of the round or worse you lose pisses me off & I will call them out quick.
