Anyone else have problems with slicing the ball? I've just recently start playing golf again after not playing since I was a kid and I've been slicing in the ball like crazy. Anyone got any tips on how to fix this?

No I'm a hooker. Start with your grip. If all else fails buy a new driver as suggested.

Are you slicing just the driver, or woods and long irons as well? Buying a new driver probably won't automatically fix a slice. You need to figure out why your slicing... whether it's a swing path issue or club face angle issue. Just search on youtube for "how to fix a slice" videos. I used to be a chronic slicer until I fixed my over-the-top move that caused me to cut across the ball.

I tried to fix it but couldn't so now I just play with it.

I have battled slicing my drives since I started golfing many years ago. Recently I saw a drill where you put an object right outside the ball to keep you from going outside in - meaning you subconsciously swing inside out to keep from the hitting the object just outside the ball. Tried it on the range with a club head cover as the object and couldn't believe how straight my drives went every single time. So now I tee up the ball just a couple of inches inside the tee marker to accomplish the same thing. Still works great. Its slowly getting into muscle memory so that I generally don't slice when not on the tee box either.

Don't buy anything new. Schedule a lesson. A decent teaching pro will fix a slice pretty quickly.

This! Get the slice fixed fixed then a new driver if needed. New equipment will do nothing if the problem is not fixed first
