My local store said they could do it for $2-3 a club as long as they didn't have to cut the shaft down.got regripped with that new blue/white tacky grip that's a little thicker due to my hand size.
For you newer golfers or idiots like me, take care of your grips. Can't believe how slick mine were compared to the new ones.
Next step will be a fitting. Anyone care to share what the whole deal would cost? Buddy of mine just did and is getting all new sticks. Said it was almost a 2 hr deal, I believe. He's going with all Rocketballz. Price at the club = $2200
Thing is that these guys are getting fitted and the ball is flying farther and straighter. Feel like I need to do it, but dayum on that price. I've always just played whatever was in my back or on the rack from last year, but if I want to drop a few strokes and compete, I'm going to have to do it at some point.

At $2200, there's no chance in hell I'd set foot in there.I don't know what all is involved. It's a separate little building and I haven't been in it yet. Thought they were selling drugs out of there, until I realized they had some fancy simulator and a separate school.
Virgil Herring is now the teaching pro out there as well.
I'd just hate to get lessons from him, get set up with new sticks, pay a ton and try to hide it from my wife,
then go out there and either stink it up or revert back to old mistakes.
At a crossroads in my golf career at 42. Shot an 82 today. 5 straight pretty decent rounds. I'd love to be at 76/77 consistently. Not sure I can get there without help.

Alright I really need some advice here between these 3 drivers...
Titleist 909D Comp 10.5
shaft: Prolaunch Red by Grafalloy w/ a "Shaft Upcharge" sticker on it
King Cobra S3 9.5
shaft: Blur mid tq / mid kp
Titleist Pro Titanium 905r
shaft: Aldila 65 s
I've hit all 3 and can't tell a big difference in them but I've got to pick one to stick with. I've been told I have a high swing speed if that helps... Which one of these drivers would be best for me?
I don't know how you would tell by just watching. Id recommend going and doing a driver fitting. There is more to it than swing speed.
Alright thanks. I'm sure I will end up doing that when I start getting better but I'm probably not going to do it anytime soon. Would you say those drivers are pretty much all about on the same level or does 1 of the 3 really stand out more as being a better driver in your opinion?
They all offer different benefits. I just had a fitting. I went in wanting/expecting to hit the new RBZ driver the best. I ended up choosing be Razr Fit. I hit the Titelist 910 8. 5 degree and like it ok. It's all about what fits your swing the best. I would definitely do a fitting before buying.
When in doubt, take the higher loft.
Alright, I bought a Rocketballz 3 Wood today. Anways, I already have all 3 of those drivers so I'm not choosing to buy one I'm just trying to decide which one to keep in my bag and use. A golf pro told me today that Tiger tees off with a 3 wood just as much if not more than he does a driver so I think I'll probably end up teeing off with my RBZ 3 wood a pretty good bit.
Really? I'm pretty tall and somewhat lanky and strong and from what I understand my type needs the lower loft. I'm not sure if that's exactly true or not though.
