The Golf Thread

I don't know about "every", but it's amazing how often that's true.

My experience is that golfers that brag about shooting low 70s then you get to play with them, all of a sudden, "this is the worst I've played in years! I can't believe I'm playing this bad!," on their way to shooting a 95.

but if you spend time around the game, you can tell who can play and who can't.

I don't get it. Cross hand is supposed to do away with the pulls due to left wrist breakdown.

I haven't been pulling it, I push them.

Cross hand helps fix right wrist breakdown, but primarily it squares shoulders. It's money for me 10 ft and under, but its harder for lags.

I'm prob one of the few where my short game Is my strength.

I scramble like a mad man as I am not a consistent ball striker.

what? Are you sure you play golf?

It fixes left wrist breakdown and levels shoulders, but has nothing to do with square shoulders.

Have only been to one golf tournament, which was a practice round at The Masters. I'm 42, so it's somewhat pathetic.

Paid for the Ryder Cup this year yesterday. Going friday and sunday, with a round in between on saturday.
Then I just informed the wife I was looking at a once in a lifetime trip to the British Open and to play 4-5 rounds of golf next July and she actually thought it was cool.

Won't believe it until it happens though.

You can't even agree with yourself. First you draw it, now you slice it. First you bomb it 330, now you're 280-290.

You're dense. I said when I try to flatten my swing out I slice it. That isn't my natural swing. Secondly, here lately my distance has gone down. Not sure why. It happens. You continue to make yourself look dumb in this thread and are grasping to find a way to deflect attention from yourself. You fail again.

Nobody loses 40 yards in a couple of weeks and says ,"it happens." Yoga can't fix that.

You draw it, then slice it, then back it up in the fairway. Sounds like you're trying to appease all the shorties. If you can hit it far don't be ashamed of it. You've let all these girls convince you that its not humanly possible to hit it past 280. Kinda funny you went from 330 back to that particular number.

how is that crazy. If you are hitting those distances with one of those being an always in the fairway swing and making 10 footers, how on earth do you not break 80?

I do break 80. Only once this season though. 78 at Lambert.

I don't recall saying that my drives are always in the fairway.

I'd argue that no one hits the driver 340 and a pw 165 and sinks everything from 10 feet and in and doesn't break 80. Period.
