If Kiffin stays I think he goes to Ole Miss…but Kiffin bolted for USC once and if he has a good season this year he might just do it again. But Manning will go where he (and his family) thinks it gives him the best shot at an NFL future - exactly why Peyton snubbed Ole Miss and came to Knoxville.

Sam Bradford, #1 pick. Landry Jones, 4th round pick. Drew Lock 2nd round pick. That's 3 of the last 5 QBs he coached as a starter for more than a season. Trevor Knight didn't make it as more than a free agent and Dillon Gabriel is still in college though many think he will be drafted when he comes out.

Nah, being 5-5 in the last 10 with Vandy shows where we have to build from.

Peyton isn't Arch's dad, Cut doesn't coach here anymore.

There's really nothing to draw him here. I think the big question is why LSU isn't in on this kid

They won the NC recently and they're 80 miles from his high school

OmG, wants to establish his own legacy somewhere else... it's not a UT thing. UT will be fine, just not happing as fast as we all hoped it would, but it will be back, according to my crystal ball, UT will be back in 2....*&^%$!😣😒 I dropped my crystal ball....sorry.

I didn't say that he wouldn't be great. I just find it funny that he is already a 5* in his junior season playing against 2a talent. I guess where I am going with this is that I don't see him going anywhere that he would be expected to start day 1.

None of that changes the fact that we are perhaps at the lowest point in program history, at least modern history, but Arch not showing Tennessee any attention shouldn’t be surprising or reflective of our current state because of the mistaken belief that he has some inherent tie to the university. His uncle played here 4 years, and that is where the tie that binds, both starts and stops.

AIR, his mom and dad are alumnus of Ole Miss, HIs heart will be Ole Miss, or LSU.

I don't think the Mannings are sold on Orgeron being the coach at LSU more than another year or two.
Also since winning that title it has been a revolving door at OC.

That said, if LSU were to make a big move and bring back Joe Brady at OC, I think Arch would give them a harder look.

Kirby might be a dumbass but to offer Arch or Cooper money to come to UGA by paying him or the family directly would be an insult. Even Kirby isn’t that stupid. The Manning family is loaded and would tell Kirby to shove it. Now an NIL deal might be offered but even that isn’t Arch’s or Cooper ‘s top priority. That is way down their checklist.

Why would any top recruit especially a legacy recruit like Arch want to even give UT a look or visit
. We are the never ending dumpster fire and clown show of the SEC.

Smokescreen IMO. I'm pretty sure he has an uncle that went here and owns land in east TN. At his homecoming game he was wearing an orange tie. Soon!
