It’s not a competition, it’s a message board. You kept insisting on something despite the fact that you obviously had no idea what you were talking about. So I’m glad that you’ve taken the L.Do you need a trophy now? Take the L? I didn't know it was a competition. I was going off the article that said he enrolled in 2000. If it elevates your self worth, take the W
I did go to Google. The article I read said he enrolled in 2000. It really doesn't matterMaybe don’t act so arrogant next time. It literally could have taken you 30 seconds on google to figure out that you were wrong. And no I don’t need a “W.”Pointing out that you were factually incorrect doesn’t mean I need a “W.”
And then he came to the UK game last season… because what could go wrong, it’s Kentucky?
Let’s be honest the Manning’s are smart enough to go to programs that are already established and winning. They won’t even smell a a second tier program.
Cutcliffe was the innovatorThis discussion is pointless. He's going to Ole Miss and always has been. The Manning's may have some reservations about Lane, but I suspect his offensive success has put those to rest.
The main reason Peyton cited for going to UT was how much success Shuler had here. Believe it or not, in 1993 Fulmer had an innovative offense compared to the rest of the country. Too bad he was running pretty much the same thing 15 years later.
Cutcliffe was the innovator
Manning’s need cash like a cat needs broccoli.People need to realize Peyton was the one who strayed away in the Manning family. Archie will go to Ole Miss, just like his father would have, his uncle did, and his grandfather did. The only way that’s not the case is if Kirby drops some serious cash on him, which we know he’ll try to do.
Well...for most of the time, yes. I think when Fulmer was OC under Majors he had it going on. Some of that likely was still Cut, but I don't think Cut and Fulmer completely overlapped either and I'm too lazy to look it up.
But even with Cut back in 06-07 our offensive scheme was often described as boring and predictable. Just saying. IMO it was, but we still had a decent offense because (a) Cut is an excellent developer of QBs and got Ainge to live up to his potential, (b) Cut was known as a strict disciplinarian that the players respected (this is probably the biggest reason), and (c) Cut was calling all the plays.
It's often repeated, but if Cut stays for 2008 Fulmer likely would have lasted longer, maybe a lot longer. Having said that, it's rumored that Cut gave up on Crompton and just didn't want to be around when the **** hit the fan. That may very well be true.
UT is not even a school that Arch Manning is considering...He is not even visiting UT. I think this shows where we are as a program.
