I hope we sign Lane to an extension because I would rather have him here to blame when we get all these stud recruits and we still have a mediocre record. Because if he leaves and we get a good coach then everyone says it was Lane's recruits not the coach. It is the coach...Lane is terrible. Hopefully in 2012 we get a good coach, but I bet we extend Lane.

I am so sick and tired of all these supposed vol fans that continually try to discredit CLK, players, this site and everything pertaining to TN. IMO they aren't even fair weather friends. They are here from who knows where to spew garbage.

I can only imagine the glee from those who view this site that aren't vol fans.

I think these people have an agenda, and it's not to support the Vols. They are only pretend supporters.

I don't have a problem with what you say. I'm of the "take no prisoners" school of thought myself. It would be petty to harp on it being played otherwise. Conversely, it is petty to dwell on whether the losing coach paid sufficient homage to the winning coach. You can't have it both ways.

Lane had us in a position to make it a competitive game, despite our pathetic OL getting literally raped. Denarious Moore catches the two TDs Crompton put in his hands and UT is kicking onsides to try and win the game. Virginia Tech was a far, far better team and if we capitalize on opportunities, the Hokies have to fight until the last second to win.

We know. It is so original to have a bulldog for a mascot! Just in the SEC there are let's see....2 teams that are bulldogs. Very unique. By the way....will then puppies ever find a defensive coordinator. Could not even hire Chavis. Yep alot of envy going on here.

Il Hokie~ I am glad to have a coach that does not take kindly to losing, even if he wears it on his sleeve. He had a game full of reasons to be upset. I noted 2 late ones. My point is to those that whine about he may have been less than cordial, to both of you I say get over it. :)
