The drive-by post game handshake

Kiffin haters find anything possible to criticize him. This handshake stuff is all BS.

Some folks in here need to get laid and stop analyzing grown men's hand shakes.

while this is true, people who are worried about the handshake have no balls for that kind of thing if you know what i mean. cannot believe that this thread is still alive, hopefully it is because some vol fans are so pissed that a tread like this was even born...:furious3::furious3::furious3:

I once saw Joe pa throw a bomb vs Rutgers with seconds left in the game to score over 50, then cuss at the Rutgers coach at the post game handshake (caught by espn cameras) because he dared ask "why?"... The post game handshake is overrated.

Looking at the body language of both men... why not be critical of Frank Beamer also?

welcome to VN
not sure I buy the part where JoePa cussed another coach

If Lane did that.. Slive would stroke out..

Thanks for the welcome..

I think we should be the first program to institute the post game handjob - loser gives. We make it a tradition and winner gets ti double down on the happy ending while snubs never happen.

Can probably get Cialis to sponsor.

I had only read the first 7 or 8 pages of this thread when I posted so I went back to read some more.... my god this was funny!

Why do i get the feeling that Meyer would stay in this case...

Because Tebow would apply for a 5th year in this case.

Besides, he can still say he's a virgin.

Mike Slive is considering requiring all SEC coaches to do a post-game hug and fist bump, to aid in promoting "more harmony" in sports. More information should be coming out this week.

If this could be in any way construed as a slight by a rational person, there'd be someone talking about it on TV or writing an article on it. Everything Lane Kiffin does is under a microscope. This has not been a cause of concern for anyone outside this forum. Even the Virginia Tech fans are not offended. Quit acting like pansies.

Coach Kiffin does not have any class at all... In the sec you are always to show class and respect to your opponent.. I think Kiffin is an idiot and he wont last 2 years at ut. I like ut football, but kiffin is not the coach for ut.. mark my words he will not last...

His contract runs thru 2012, but you say UT will buy him out at the end of next season. Noted.

Kiffin was mad because Beamer didn't show him enough respect before the game.

That's funny, but seriously, it was during the game VT disrespected UT. Like the late field goal and the slam on JC. If these two subjects alone do not upset Vol fans, then they are ignorant and oblivious to the real world.

1.) If you are within field goal range, you kick the field goal. I could see being upset if we were still passing for TDs a la Florida vs. Cincy, but it was three straight runs and a kick.

2.) If you are going to pass then we are going to defend against the pass. With Bud Foster that means a blitz. The blitz worked, and we got a sack. Yes, it was a hard sack. But it was not a dirty sack.

I find it hilarious that in the same breath you imply that VT did something wrong by kicking the field goal when we were up by 20, but don't find anything wrong with JC still trying to pass for a score when down by 20. Either both teams should have quit trying at that point, or neither should have. I always vote for playing to the last down regardless of the score, which is exactly the way it went down in Atlanta.
