So, I've had the Storm for about 5 days and the only problem I have with it is the battery. I changed GPS to Emergency Only, Backlight to 10%, and blackbout to 20 seconds. Still seems to use the battery pretty quick when I'm using it.

They are pretty freakin sweet, especially if you know other people with BlackBerries and can use the instant messager. Of course, I am sure it will piss me off sooner or later. The touch screen takes a little bit of getting used to, but I pretty much have it down after a few hours of playing with it.

As emain said, it's awesome. I had a Curve previously so it wasn't much of an adjustment aside from the touchscreen. The battery life seems to be fine now. If you don't mind paying an extra $30 a month for internet/data it's definitely worth it. You frequent VN often like me, so I would say it's well worth the money.

Also, they are running a deal right now. Buy one Storm get any Blackberry free with 2 yr contract. So basically you can get a storm for $100 if you know someone who will go in with you.

gotta say I love the BB IM feature. Most everyone on my family has a BB and it's much easier

You can buy a single Storm from Amazon for $99.That's who I got mine from.

I like everything about the phone except for the landscape mode keypad.You NEED to be able to see what letter you are typing while you are pressing down on it.Even the LG Dare has this feature,and of course the iphone,and ipod touch have it.

How many days do I have to return it 30?? The only reason I haven't returned it already is I hope that the soon to be opened Blackberry App store will offer some of the things that would make the phone more user friendly.

Thanks for the info guys. What OS are you all running? I read that the newer leaked OS's have fixed a lot of the problems they had early on.

I'm not messing with leaked versions. I'll wait for the real releases so I don't screw something up. There is a new update that is supposed to release with the App Center.

The .99 OS leak is far better than stock.(.75).The button/screen is more responsive and it doesn't lag nearly as much as .75...........Go for it!

I am running .75 right now as well, although I am about to see about the leaked OS's. The only problem I have had so far is some minor lag, it's nothing that can't be addressed in software updates though.

Just installed .99. So far, so good. No problems with the phone going retarded as I am scrolling.

Question for anyone that would know. When you are in the browser, is there a setting for the zoom function that will make it button only?

BB IM is awesome. I use it often. The threaded messaging, which BB doesn't have on SMS for some reason, is very nice.
